Llama Day 20- Video
For those of you who were busy during Della's get to know you session, I'm Death. Not a god thereof, just... Death.
Apparently it's not always common but life also falls under my domain. And Entrapta tells me there are a surprising number of people with soul location issues.
I might be able to help, if you're willing to talk to me about it. I'll be in the rock garden if you want to talk about it.
[Feel free to action on over to the gardens to discuss the matter in a less public venue]

Re: Action
But then. Life is complicated.

[He sighs and reaches up to scritch the bird carefully.]
As punishment for messing up and getting shot by a teammate. She said I asn't responsible enough to hold onot it.

[No family does dysfunctional like a mythological family, after all. Mortals have a much smaller span of time to develop issues in]
But that seems awfully disproportionate.
[She can't really think of an infraction worthy of soul confiscation.]

... I just really don't want to hurt Bob. If I have to hurt someone I care about to fix myself, it's not worth it.
no subject
[Not here. She can interfere to help people. Especially people trying to not harm anyone in the process]
I'll see what I can do.
no subject
[He blinks, wiping tears rim his eyes. Shit... he's fine, just... emotional.]
[Bob flutters down to sit in front of Casper. He sits down as well.]
Just... tell me what you need me to do.
no subject
[It just seems to make more sense to be comfortable for this]
It's just the soul being out of place, there's no abilities or anything tied up in it?
[Some of the others sound more complicated]
no subject
I didn't really get an instruction manual.
no subject
[Still, this sounds simpler than some of the others]
Some people's abilities here are tied up in having the soul elsewhere, so I wanted to check first.
Could I hold Bob for a moment?
no subject
[He looks at Bob and nods, and the bird flutters up to sit in Death's hands. He fluffs up slightly, but smooths down quickly enough.]
no subject
The other soul is really just in there.
[This could be more complicated, at least]
no subject
[He shudders briefly, a little nervous... but he trusts her. He trusts the other version o her, why would this be different?]
no subject
no subject
... Whenever you're ready, just tell me if I need to do anything.

no subject
[He can kind of do the same thing, but... not to himself.]
[He goes very still indeed, holding his breath without issue to keep himself as still as possible.]
no subject
He already has life, so she doesn't need to do that part]
How does it feel?
no subject
... Ah...
[He blinks in surprise at the light around them, everything feeling suddenly much more bright and vibrant and real. His senses were still excellent the last few years, but he'd forgotten what it was like to be inside of his body rather than piloting it and experiencing it from afar.]
[Tears start to roll down his cheeks, and he chokes back a sob. These past few years...]
[He has to look forward. And for right now...]
... Is it okay if I... [Sniff.] ... Give you a hug?
no subject
[She opens her arms. Crying is something she's used to. Happy tears are a nice change.]
It's back where it should be.
no subject
[Casper takes a deep breath, feeling things properly. He lets it out and wraps his arms around Death, giving her a tight hug. He leans his head into her shoulder, his voice quiet and shaky as he speaks.]
Thank you. Thank you so, so much...
no subject
You're welcome.
It feels right, then?
no subject
[He nods against her shoulder, taking a few more shaky breaths.]
I haven't... felt like this in a long, long time. Years. I... I'd almost given up hope...
no subject
No one has the right to do that to someone else. It's your soul.
no subject
[He lets out a shaky laugh, loosening his grip some more.]
I... uh. That was a point in my life where... people pushed me around in a lot of ways. One of them's why I have the prosthetic, another big one... well. Nightmares.
I was used to it. People telling me I was useless and stupid. Not... anymore - I know that's wrong. But I was.
no subject
[There's no judgement. She seldom judges, despite what Casper may have heard on certain psychic networks]
You're worth so much more than that.
