[Entrapta is in the gym car again. Even if Claudette is complete, she still likes to play, and she leaves her there when she's off mission. The little dinosaur looking robot with purple lighting is running around in the background of the ICPs view when she has it on, chasing a ball with little dancing emu kicks.]

Hi! I'm Entrapta if I haven't met you yet! I've been doing a lot of research into magic to see what similarities and dissimilarities exist between worlds. So I was going to ask if anyone could do me a favor and allow me to record you. If I find more general similarities it might be able to help us block specific types of hostile attacks, specifically mental ones. [Because their last encounter was so specifically mentally targeted she wants to help in the protection department. But maybe as generalized as possible.]

This includes qi, aether, traditional magic, any sort of energy that can be manipulated by living beings into solid objects, methods for healing, or offensive attacks.

[Claudette moonwalks through the background balancing the ball on her head.]

I also really need to speak with some people that might have experience researching souls attached to items. I want to see if it's possible to re-establish the connection to the original body. It's a relatively new idea to me, but in my world most Princesses are inherently connected to their Runestones. It's a trait that passes down through generations. But our Runestones can be destroyed and we still maintain some of our magic, though not at maximum capacity. I still have powers even though Dryl's stone was destroyed long ago.

[She points to herself with three different locks of hair as if to say, 'Yes, this person with these hair abilities, that's me.']

I've also recently integrated an atmospheric analyzer into Claudette. If you see her on mission and she starts making a siren noise? Then you might need to seek safety. I'll write out a list of the new sounds I've installed.

[Claudette honks in the background. And Entrapta looks exasperated.] They all know you can make that one! I'm talking about the ones you can only make when there's trouble.

[Honk honk.]

...Also if someone can take the time to come by the gym, could they use her for target practice? Don't destroy her or anything, please. She was very difficult to make. But she has good shields and can regenerate some injuries and she loves to play dodge. Just be sure to tell her she's a good girl.

Thank you! Her shields should be pretty high quality but power levels are so inconsistent here that 'high quality' sometimes ends up outclassed quickly. I'll leave it at 'just don't break her and be sure to tell her she's good', and she'll be alright!

And thanks! I have a magical scanner so I might be able to get some readings off of it. What exactly is a Kyutama?

What about souls that are items? My Soul Gem is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, my actual soul removed from my body and crystalized.

I can't help with the soul thing, but if you're thinking about those illusions with the mental block, I know a few spells and items that could help? You can borrow and study them if you want.

No, that's great! Especially if I can find multiple examples of what works and observe a general pattern of effectiveness. We could distill the effects in our own customizable spell.

Well.... yeah, sure. That's kind of what I'm hoping to do. There are a lot of resourceful people here and since I have experience with people bonded to objects, I believe there's a high probability I could be successful.

So your family does research into ghosts. What devices do they have related to them?

[Because... his innocence does require energy to actually use and that's why he has to eat a lot. But this was a subject Allen honestly knew very little about.]

I would definitely think so, yes.

What is it exactly you do with your body parts? And if you do them would it be okay to scan them?

[She is, at this point, in her room. So when she uses the ICP to respond it's a much more mundane background and her only robotic company is a volleyball-sized silver ball that's quietly inhabiting a corner.]

Seeing the different ways magic can be manipulated has been pretty great so far.

Soldat swings by the gym after dinner to poke their head in at Entrapta and her dino-robot. They offer a wan but warm smile. "Hey. Heard your message earlier."

They're not sure if it's actually about them, but given their conversation before the mission, it could very well be. And even if it's not, it might still help them out.

Claudette was lying in the floor like a metal speedbump, and when Soldat enters she looks up. Entrapta is in the middle of packing up her Capsule Corp box when she sees Soldat come in.

"Hi, Soldat!" Then, after a look around to make sure no one was within earshot. "Honestly I didn't know misplaced souls was such a widespread problem! We're definitely going to have to look into it."

Because now it's not just his on the line.

[He's starting to cotton on to the fact that all this technology he's not familiar with comes with terminology that changes the meanings of words he thought he knew. Might as well get clarification.]

I'm can record someone performing magic and see how the energy around them reacts to it. Etherian magic hasn't been exactly like any magic here, either. But I've found enough in common with elemental magic to have some idea of useful similarities.

If you let me record you performing a spell I can show you! Do I have to wait for someone to be injured first or do you do other mage things?

For the first, I can demonstrate what effects I'd consider safe indoors. 'Offensive magic' covers a lot of effects I wouldn't use in a place that is protecting me from a hostile outside.

Second, can you clarify? Because I've heard of people's souls being moved from their bodies into objects, but not some sort of connection to an object where your soul stays where it is.

[He's going to ignore the woman's weird golem for now.]

I mean the soul has been removed and placed into an object, but the body still operates and receives sensations. If the object breaks? The person dies. That's the really inconvenient part. Objects don't usually heal without a little help.

Uuuuuh, little offensive magic. I think fireballs are okay so long as you don't burn important train stuff. Offensive magic against small angry carnivorous beasts.

Claudette has pretty good magical shields too, so she can absorb something like that.

What exactly are you planning to do with this information? Or is this more a case of research for the sake of it rather than an end goal? [Because Vegeta was used to that. Have you met his wife? Bulma had a constant thirst for new knowledge. She also had poked and prodded at him early on in his second arrival on Earth, curious to learn about how Saiyans worked, and for the most was able to bribe him with snacks to stop him getting too annoyed at it happening.]

[She knows Bulma and Trunks! And generally gets along with them scientifically, so at least he's well-prepared.]

I want to use the common knowledge and try to efficiently produce magical devices that aren't world exclusive and cover all manner of sins. I also want to share it with other builders that use both magic or various forms of it and technology!

Imagine being able to make the materials you'd need to build a complex machine rather than having to wait to happen across them! There are all kinds of things that can be learned.
