This is one of those "I can't believe I have to say this" kind of deals, so buckle up, folks.

Guys? I know I'm really amazing, very cool, and all around unbelievable. I'm so many things, it's hard to list them all. But one thing I'm not?

A deity. Yes, I am in fact, 100%, absolutely and truly not a goddess. And no, I'm not a demi-goddess either. Not a single trace of divinity in me. I won't name names, but this has happened about three or four times now. Just thought I'd mention it in case there's anyone else out there with this assumption.

... Y'know what? It's a new month, and that means we're getting newbies. Maybe now's a good time for everyone to sweep any other misunderstandings under the rug. So, if there's anything you wanna clear up about yourself, your world, your species, whatever, go for it.

There are multiple Underworlds and other places mortals go after they die. I take them to whichever one they're meant to be in but I don't decide which it is.

What other sorts of Underworlds are there? I've only heard about a few, and frankly, my Father never told me there was more than just ours. You'd think the God of the Dead might mention something to his son about that, but him neglecting to tell me important information is pretty much our relationship in a nutshell.

That was billions of years ago. No mortal alive even realizes it happened.

In my experience most gods of the dead don't concern themselves outside their own pantheons. Some hold with rebirth. A lot of places have variants on the Tartarus and Elysium model... surprisingly little Asphodel.

Wait, what? Why no Asphodel? Do they expect all the everyday mortals to be heroic shades for all eternity? [That seems extremely rude to all those souls!]

Sorry, this is a lot to take in. I'm... not exactly sure what purpose that would serve, only letting the really terrible mortals and the really heroic mortals in. It would leave everyone else out in the cold!

The in between mortals still end up one place or the other. The standards vary but... it's just my job to get people where they're going, not to decide.

But what about the people that don't believe in gods, or whatever? Do they get to spend eternity with you?
