Guys? I know I'm really amazing, very cool, and all around unbelievable. I'm so many things, it's hard to list them all. But one thing I'm not?

A deity. Yes, I am in fact, 100%, absolutely and truly not a goddess. And no, I'm not a demi-goddess either. Not a single trace of divinity in me. I won't name names, but this has happened about three or four times now. Just thought I'd mention it in case there's anyone else out there with this assumption.

... Y'know what? It's a new month, and that means we're getting newbies. Maybe now's a good time for everyone to sweep any other misunderstandings under the rug. So, if there's anything you wanna clear up about yourself, your world, your species, whatever, go for it.

I have a sixth sense - all mages from my world do, in fact. I can sense a person's life energy - it picks up on humans, demons, most anything that can think for itself, though it doesn't recognize animals or dead things. It can also tell me whether someone has magic and how powerful they are - the stronger someone is, the easier it is to Sense them. So I can generally tell someone's coming, even if I don't see or hear them.

[Probably better not to let people know his Sense can be overwhelmed. That doesn't need to be public information.]

...also, I'm a healer, so if I tell you to do something, it's generally for your own good.

[Okay, now she is embarrassing him, and he is bright red. To be fair, teenage embarrassment caused by doting parental figure is an entirely new experience and he has no idea what to do with it.]

[It's out of his mouth before he can think about it, and if he could blush harder, he definitely would be. It's a testament to his growth that, instead of freezing up and apologizing, he just...looks for a subject change. It'll be okay, right?]
