Guys? I know I'm really amazing, very cool, and all around unbelievable. I'm so many things, it's hard to list them all. But one thing I'm not?

A deity. Yes, I am in fact, 100%, absolutely and truly not a goddess. And no, I'm not a demi-goddess either. Not a single trace of divinity in me. I won't name names, but this has happened about three or four times now. Just thought I'd mention it in case there's anyone else out there with this assumption.

... Y'know what? It's a new month, and that means we're getting newbies. Maybe now's a good time for everyone to sweep any other misunderstandings under the rug. So, if there's anything you wanna clear up about yourself, your world, your species, whatever, go for it.

I mean there are WHOLE OTHER UNIVERSES. You know how we've been visiting different worlds? It's like that! I come from a world that is MADE UP OF BIRD PEOPLE. No humans! Not a single one! My parents were birds! My grandparents were birds! My neighbors are birds! The gods in my world are birds!

And when I die, I will not meet you there in the Underworld! We have our own Underworld, with our own bird Hades!

He needs a moment to be mildly mortified (okay, he's an embarrassed god) at himself for misunderstanding something that could have been so simply explained. ]

Maybe I was a little miffed at the... sustained misunderstanding, but that wasn't why I made this whole "post" in the first place. I was just trying to lighten the mood. I mean, let's be real... forget the fact I'm a bird-person.

I don't exactly have the regal dignity of a god, now do I?

... Appreciated, Zag, but two things.

One - my Zeus and your Zeus are from different worlds, so wouldn't do much good. Kind of what I've been trying to tell Thanatos here.

Two - Even if you DID meet my Zeus, "putting in a good word" would make things sooo much worse. See, most of his hate is centered on my Uncle Scrooge, because Scrooge keeps outdoing him in almost everything, and so Zeus' people love and prefer Scrooge over Zeus. Zeus is super jelly - er, jealous - but honestly? He's just a jerk.

But surely he'd still listen to his nephew from another world? If we find another Endless River, or something. I'm pretty good about buttering up my Uncles at home.

Your Uncle Scrooge sounds exactly like the sort of mischievous mortal I believe would irritate my Uncle. [There is a pause, and Della might be able to hear the little grin on Zagreus' end of the line.] But he sounds pretty great to have around.

No, he would not - cause he doesn't even listen to his own kids of his world. Shoot, when the entire world was in danger from invaders, he wouldn't lift a finger if it meant in any way helping my uncle.

... But my uncle IS great to have around, you do have that right. He's the best.

Not to put an idea in your head, but you could always play to his ego and insist that it will make him look good to the people he wants to impress. Not that I've done precisely that with my Lord Uncle multiple times, over multiple escape attempts from the Underworld.

Well if he ever becomes a passenger on the train, be sure to introduce me to him, all right?

... it feels weird not to call you Cousin, though. Guess I'll need to think up another nickname for you. Delle? Delly? Hmm, that one's not much shorter, is it... a lot harder to make up a nickname when there's only two syllables.
