Kazoo 16 - Video Post

[The video opens with a very somber-looking WangJi. Even more so than he normally looked for those who were actually able to tell. Even from the angle of the video, a very obvious pair of white ears from a rabbit kept bouncing into frame for a moment as WangJi made the post while holding Little Radish]

For those that knew him, Wei Ying... my husband... is no longer on the train. There are others still here, but he has departed the train.

[It was as simple as that.

For those that wish to find him, he can - predictably - be found in the Greenhouse with his two rabbits, Little Radish now snuggled in his arms and being a good comfort bunny while Little Carrot played with a random leaf that had been on the ground]

Indeed. Little Radish is better behaved than Little Carrot. Not that he is bad, but Little Carrot has more energy.

[Little Radish had been his comfort rabbit once before when WuXian was gone. The white rabbit was doing it again this time.

Happy rabbit at scritches with a very content look on his face]

I'm sure that he does know some. I have recited them around him before.

Ah...

[Wen Ning gives the rabbit a little boop on the nose with one finger.]

You're a Lan now, little rabbit. Make sure you listen well.

[Thinking back on the rules now, there's a surprising amount that this tiny creature would actually be capable of breaking.]

[Little Radish wrinkled his nose, looking up at Wen Ning as he poked him. Yep, he was definitely a Lan bunny. So many things to remember]

He listens very well. I don't know that he'll be able to copy the rules well.

[A little joke there. But yes, surprisingly they could break a number of the rules without even knowing it]

I'm sure calligraphy is difficult with those tiny paws.

[The little joke isn't lost on Wen Ning, and he's pleased that Lan Wangji feels comfortable enough with him to say it.]

Just repeat them in your head every day! [He addresses the rabbit again, grin only widening.]

It is. I don't know that it would be very legible.

[Little Radish sat up as Wen Ning said that to him. He looked around, bobbing a little as he did. Kind of looked like he was bowing. It was rather cute, WangJi thought]

[It does rather look like bowing. And even though Wen Ning knows that it isn't, he still returns the gesture with a could nods of his head.]

Yes, yes. You're very cute and polite, little Lan bunny.

[He gives him another poke on the nose.]

Do they make headbands in his size?

[WangJi smiled watching as Wen Ning bowed back to the rabbit. Little Radish didn't know what he had done... but it was apparently interesting]

He is very polite.

[Little Radish lowered back down and walked on the table a bit, sniffing. He knew food came from this place so maybe he was hopeful]

I don't believe so. Though I'm sure the spider here would be able to make one.

The... spider?

[Wen Ning looks up from where he'd started to hunch down at the rabbit's level.]

There's a spider here that makes clothing?

[It would have to be a rather large spider, he'd imagine, or creating that much spider silk would take forever. And wouldn't it be sticky?]

Yes. She is a rather large spider who makes clothes for a cost, usually snacks.

[Yes, he was not lying about this]

She has made many items for me including my and Wei Ying's wedding clothes.

[deadwenwalking]

[It's so odd to think about the two of them being married - even though he'd teased another version of this man about that same thing. Knowing it had actually happened is completely different.

It's also odd to think about a spider who made clothes for food, but there are a lot of weird things on this train. Hopefully that food isn't actually other travelers.]

That... must be something to see.

[It sounds downright magical.]

I really need to get to know all the passengers here...

She will certainly help you. She has made clothes like ours before. Last I heard, her price for new customers was one bag of the treats the train provides.

[He nodded his head once] It is a difficult task to get to know them all when it changes so often.

If the train provides them... couldn't she just ask the train for them?

[Or is there some limitation here he's missing? He doesn't plan on asking for new clothes just yet regardless. He can fight in what he has now and that's what's most important.]

That doesn't seem like much in the way of payment.

She can. But they also cost points, so I assume that it is her way of getting paid for the work. She does not have to spend the points on the treats in order to get them, just has to work.

Ah - that's true.

[The train provides many things, but not everything is free. Points are really the only form of currency on this train, so it would be a sort of payment. Then again, couldn't the same people buy clothes from the train just as easily? Unless the food costs less, which would make sense.]

If it works for her that's all that matters, I suppose.

[He nodded his head]

It seems to work for her. It is what she wishes to trade for her work though of course, she might have a different number of treats in mind as payment depending on the work.

[Wen Ning can see how the treats might be a nice change from the cafeteria fare, which isn't always particularly exciting. (Though some of it is for him, at least the meals he's never had before.)]

I'll remember you mentioned her.

[Even if he doesn't have plans to have clothing made any time soon.]
