Good afternoon, fellow VoidTrain passengers! Isn't it a lovely day?

I don't have long, Senku-chan should be pretty distracted - but all of you who know him, he could have a sudden idea and want to share it at any moment.

This is for everyone who does know Senku!

The fourth of next month, best I can guess, is a special day.

[ He holds up a finger and says; ]

You see, my dears, Senku-chan has this habit of keeping a running count of each day in his head. Probably because our time, also, had no clocks! No strange train time going on there, just hadn't been re-invented yet, if you've heard the story from Senku you know why. I digress.

Doing the math, that should make the 4th of next month Senku's birthday!

And I would like to throw a party. I'm going to order a cake - I've gotten a few presents at that faire ...

Who's in? With presents! Decorations! Food!

... There's at least cake in it for you, if you'd like to join? But I believe Senku-chan has helped a lot of us here, and after such a time after being kidnapped ... well, he deserves to have a little party, wouldn't you say?

Hey, you're in luck! My... um, this guy I know, Michael, his moms were really good cooks. He gave me this Bicol recipe I could try making. And I mean, I could always just make Indian curry.

Bicol? [ Blinked, something he hadn't heard of - something new and interesting. ]

I haven't had that before - if it's flavorful and spicy, I think Senku-chan and I would both be willing to try it.

What ingredients do you need?

Onion, garlic, lots of chili peppers, and pork if you have it. I could try replacing it with something else, otherwise. It'd be good to have coconut milk too, but I could always just try it with regular milk.

Be warned though, it is spicy. Michael brought me some his moms made and I got so worked up I accidentally hit the call button for the nurses.

[ He hummed, and began ticking things off on his fingers. ]

The train's got onions, and regular milk. I can get you garlic, chili peppers, and ... no pork, but we've got some bird meat and bear meat. I'd suggest the fowl, that's most like pork in flavor and texture, I'm guessing? Bear can be a bit strong.

[ Gen grinned. ]

Spicy sounds good, trust me. Senku-chan is going to love this!

I can probably make it work with that stuff! Whatever it ends up being, it'll be spicy.

[He offers a pair of finger guns and beams.]

I'll get right on that then! If you think of anything else I can bring, lemme know.

[ He beamed back. ]

Trust me - bringing a meal like this is doing me a huge favor, my friend. I'll owe you a favor, surely.

Nah, you don't have to owe me anything! I mean... good people just like doing good deeds.

[But that does remind him...]

Tell you what... help me practice for a concert for everyone, and we'll be even.

Sold! [ Looked rather pleased with the idea, actually. ] I'll be happy to help you, especially since a concert would be a boon to us all. I could even try and get the word out about it, once you feel ready.

If you have that high hopes for it, I wouldn't mind the help getting it set up... I mean, Senku says you've got a way with words.

[Being on stage probably does that for a guy.]

I used to be told the same thing, a lot. Maybe that's a bit of a different situation, but...

[But there is something to be said about false bravado, isn't there?]

[ He gave Rich a kind smile. ]

Yeah. You're right. I've still got a lot to learn to adjust to living here. And, well, living in general.
