Hello! So, Vee did that game where everyone got to ask it three questions. And I thought it seemed kinda fun. It would be a fun way to get to know everyone here. So I think it should be a game for everyone to play.

If you can do this.... Caw, ICP? Thingy. And talk to people. Let people ask you three questions and use it to get to know people! And even if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about getting to know people, it's still worth trying, because if we're all on teams and going on missions together, the more we know about each other, the better we can work together. Tactics, battle strategy, abilities, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses... And things like personality, history, all of that. The more we know about each other, the better we'll be.

Ready? I'll start!

Technical definitions aside, vegetable. Who ever uses a tomato like a fruit? No one.

Exactly! Whatever science says, sometimes you just gotta go with the practical definition.

Though that does make me wonder what other fruits and veggies we might be technically naming wrong. Everybody knows about the tomatoes thing, but there's bound to be others...

Here's where I break everyone's heart and tell you strawberries aren't berries. Or--I think blackberries? But it's all semantics anyways. Small fruits on bushes tend to be called berries no matter the way you categorize it in science.

Huh... Learn something new every day I guess.

Though I think I've heard that lemons and coconuts technically are berries? Or at least that one of them is. Don't quite remember where I heard it though.

I mean, it gets very specific about what a berry is. It's like the ratio of the three parts of a fruit and how hard bits are and all that. Lemons are weird. Citruses in general are just super weird plants.

What's weird about them? They always seemed like pretty normal kinds of fruit to me.

Yeah--well like oranges aren't really their own thing. They're a mix of two different other citrus. Same with grapefruit, limes, even some lemons. They are their own fruits now but they didn't start that way. A lot of plants will do this but citrus are like--the worst for it. You get all these natural hybrids if you leave two plants near each other long enough.

Huh... That's actually pretty cool. I never knew that before.

We can't really grow trees on the train, but I wonder if the same thing would happen if you put a citrus tree next to a similar sort of fruit tree from another planet?

I grew that one little tree for a girl who left, the peach tree, but, maybe. It would probably at least try. Whether it went anywhere, who knows? I'd have to experiment and sadly, I just don't have the space. Or the other kind of tree.

Yeah. We'd need to find some other kind of citrus tree seed if we wanted to try it. But you're right that space would probably be the biggest issue, along with time. I mean yeah, your powers could grow the tree right away, but if the whole point is to see whether they'd make a hybrid fruit if you just left them alone... yeah.

Though now that I think about it, would trees even make fruit on their own without bugs and things to pollinate them? There's not even really any wind on the train that could help...
