[The feed opens up with... a far-too-close zoom-in on Enna's eye. But then once she's satisfied it's on, she leans back, and nods to herself.]

Hello! So, Vee did that game where everyone got to ask it three questions. And I thought it seemed kinda fun. It would be a fun way to get to know everyone here. So I think it should be a game for everyone to play.

If you can do this.... Caw, ICP? Thingy. And talk to people. Let people ask you three questions and use it to get to know people! And even if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about getting to know people, it's still worth trying, because if we're all on teams and going on missions together, the more we know about each other, the better we can work together. Tactics, battle strategy, abilities, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses... And things like personality, history, all of that. The more we know about each other, the better we'll be.

Oh! And someone else gave me a baby dragon card. It looked really cool!

Oh yeah? There's def'nitely loads 'f those, so-

[wait back up what card-] ...Like it was a drag'n tha' was a baby, or...

[NO WAY...]

"Well, it did have a dragon that was a baby on it. But the name of the card was Baby Dragon." A small laugh. "Guilmon really liked it. There isn't a Guilmon card in the game at home, so it made him happy to see a card that was similar to him."

"OHHHH! Tha's it! Baby Dragon!" Excitement is now officially triggered. "Tha's one of my favorite cards! Helped me outta a real pinch, y'know?"

"Really? I don't really know how to play that game yet, but it sounds fun. How did you use it?"

Baby Dragon's normally pr'tty weak on their own, but y' can use 'Fusion' t' combine their strength w'th other monsters y' see...but there's also another trick.

Usin' a card called Time Wizard. With tha', y' get a 50-50 shot of self-destructin, or shootin' time forward on th' playin' field. Doin' that, means Baby Dragon grows up!

[Takato listens to this with fascination.]

That sounds so cool! So fusion is a little like matrix evolution or jogress evolution!

What does Baby Dragon grow up into!

Anyway, he b'comes th' Thousan' Year Dragon! Old an' strong!

"Digimon can evolve in lots of different ways. Jogress is when two digimon evolve together into a new kind of digimon. And matrix evolution is when a human and a digimon evolve together." A small laugh. "But that one isn't in the card game, since we kind of invented it."

"That sounds so cool! What can Thousand Year Dragon do?"

[luckydragonsfoot]

"Huhhh... ...Wait a HUMAN!? Y' jus' fuse like tha'!?" Just as he's busy panicking, he realizes something.

"...huh. Guess tha's kinda like deckmasters if I think abou' it..." Weird but...still works??

"Oh- well, mos'ly 'es just got a lotta power. Thing is, Time Wizard's effect weakens everyone else if Thousan' Dragon's showin' up, so it kinda levels th' field out for 'm."

[dreamtamer]

"Mmm! I really wanted to fight together with Guilmon. So I made a wish and then we became one person. Its a really amazing feeling, and we're really strong when we're like that!" Takato frowns. "I keep wondering if maybe we could have helped more on the last mission if we'd done that."

But back to cards. "Huh, I don't really understand how this card game works yet, but it sounds really cool!"

stares at the DOMA arc and laughs,

"Holy shit that's so cool..."

Beside him, comes Red-Eyes' very curious head. The two glance at the other.

"...Yeah that ain't happenin' bud, not how it works..." Hahhh. That said. "Well, jus' means we teach yah then!! It'll be fun!"

Takato stares at the dragon that had suddenly appeared, and can only come to one conclusion.

"You have a partner too?"

"Eh?"

Katsuya blinks, and looks at Red-Eyes. "Eh...I guess tha's one word f'r it. He's uh...my 'shadow', y' could say?"

[dreamtamer]

To Takato that sounded close enough.

He cheerfully kneels down and waves at the dragon.

"Nice to meet you!"

"AAAOUUUUURR?"

"Hah! I'm bettin' that's a 'same' from th's guy! Righ'- Takato, Red-Eyes. Red-Eyes, Takato!"

The roar just makes Takato grin as he waves again.

That had been enough to get Guilmon's attention as well. He leans into the view and makes his best attempt at roaring back. While also waving hello.

"Hoh!!" While Red-Eyes just stares and peers at the camera as if everyone will simply crawl out of it, Katsuya blinks. "Oiii, you got like, a red Baby Dragon??"

[dreamtamer]

"I'm not a baby!. Guilmon is Guilmon!"

Meanwhile Takato is just amused. "You're not a dragon either." He turns to explain. "Guilmon is my partner. He's a digimon."

[luckydragonsfoot]

"Eh..?" Oh, well. "Huh. Righ', er...Guilmon then."

...

"...what's a digimon?"

[dreamtamer]

"Its short for digital monster," Takato explains cheerfully. He'd had to explain this a lot. "They're like living creatures made out of data."

[luckydragonsfoot]

"Hoh! So like 'f v-pets were alive..?" Hey, he heard digital-

"Neat! ...An' he can talk too! Even more neat! Most pokemon can't do that y'know?"

[dreamtamer]

"Well, not exactly." There had been this whole thing with V-pets and a virus and a vaccine that was both a V-Pet and a copy of a girl's dog and not quite a digimon. It had all been terribly confusing.

"But I guess a little like that!"

Guilmon tilts his head curiously. "What's a pokemon?"

[luckydragonsfoot]

It's close enough.

Speaking of close enough. "Ehhh... ...Ah shit there's way too many t' answer- Uhhhh y'know normal animals? They were th' animals from th' place I was b'fore boardin' th' train. 'xcept they have cool powers an' stuff, an' they're smarter.

[A pause, and-]

Red Eyes ain't a pokemon by th' way.
