Hello! So, Vee did that game where everyone got to ask it three questions. And I thought it seemed kinda fun. It would be a fun way to get to know everyone here. So I think it should be a game for everyone to play.

If you can do this.... Caw, ICP? Thingy. And talk to people. Let people ask you three questions and use it to get to know people! And even if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about getting to know people, it's still worth trying, because if we're all on teams and going on missions together, the more we know about each other, the better we can work together. Tactics, battle strategy, abilities, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses... And things like personality, history, all of that. The more we know about each other, the better we'll be.

Why, I'm blushing, my dear. [ Except he's not, as he's on camera. ] He's rarely so open about his feelings.

But it's very possible we've had this conversation between the two of us, so as rare as he talks about them, I'm very aware of them ... and he also knows just how much I value his genius and kindness alike.

That is good. [Though in hindsight maybe being too forward with his feelings may have been a bit of a breech were they not closer to each other already...]

What achievement are you the most proud of?

Oh! That is a good question. Kind of difficult to decide on, too.

I'm very proud of my career, before I was petrified.

But I'm also proud of all the things we've achieved, rebuilding and helping the world ...

But! I was such a tiny part of all of that. I can't really say that was me, doing that achievement, can I?

So, let's loop back to my old career. That was all me, even if it's not as impressive as ... reinventing electricity.

I was an entertainer. A magician. I call myself - as you had heard in my introduction - a Mentalist.

[ A small flourish of his hands as he said that. ]

That's a performing job? I thought it was supposed to be an actual skill, like reading minds.

[Not that she suspected he would have done much to correct that misconception...]

Perhaps for some realities. But real magic doesn’t exist in mine. So I have to make do with shortcuts and clever little tricks.

[ He winked. ] And I’m good enough that lots of people thought I really could read minds.

[Of the two, Gen definitely seemed to be the one gifted with the ability to talk and was a master of misdirection.]

Do you have a trick that you would consider your best?

My best? Hmmm ...

[ Tapped his chin for a moment. ]

I was pretty good at appearing like I could escape from all sorts of traps and terrible fates I'd set for myself. One of these, had a device that would impale me with a giant sword - but then I'd set myself free from the ropes, push the sword out of my body, and escape unharmed.

That wouldn't really impress us.

[For bone-based creatures that must be really impressive! But to ink-based ones that's just good sense.]

I suppose not! [ A soft laugh. ] I bet you’re far more flexible than I am.

If I was born as someone like you, I suppose I would’ve discovered different escape acts to impress people with. Though, I have found my way out of a locked box before ...
