I actually didn't know anything about that until I got back and daozhang told me he was going to be getting eyes.

And even if I was, I wouldn't die from it.

Yes, but you would be blind. [He is snapping and taking out his anger on Xue Yang. That shouldn't be terribly surprising, but it doesn't feel good.] What could you do for anyone blind?

You don't think I can handle myself if I am blind? Daozhang manages and is still strong.

[Xue Yang feels a little offended by that. He thinks he could handle himself just fine. Not that he wants to try it, but still...]

[Not that he has been a very good one anyway but he's pretty sure Meng Yao doesn't realy need one. He knows that the other man is just venting his frustrations and Xue Yang is a good target.]

[It won't really be too long. He was nearby anyway. He makes it into the garden carriage and looks around. He can honestly say he doesn't come here all that often...as in ever.]

What difference does it make what I value it as when dying doesn't matter in this place?

[Not that he wants to die a million times but at least he knows for sure that he will come back at least twice more.]
