So, something that was brought up at the meeting got me thinking. About ways to come together as a community, and maybe accomplish multiple goals. Besides that, I think we need something fun right now, for any who are up for it.

What about a train-based game of Capture the Flag?

[Trunks hasn't actually ever gotten to PLAY capture the flag, but he saw it in TV shows and read about it. He had a sheltered life in some ways, when it wasn't slowly growing into a dystopian apocalypse.]

I'd suggest no more than 3 teams, and we'd have to figure out how to divide up the bases where each team's flag is. We'd also have to agree on the rules, but I'm thinking the obvious ones are "no powers" and "no hiding in locked areas" like your room or the quiet cars.

I think after that last mission we could all use some fun. Granted, I was thinking about how could games be training--but this? This would really just be a game.

Yeah definitely. Sometimes there just needs to be something just for the heck of it, y'know? Not everything needs to be for a purpose.

The tricky part now, is figuring out how to run this. Where in the train, how much of the train is 'in game', etc. Plus I've never actually played it myself; just watched it on tv shows or read about it.

Well, you did mention rules like no hiding in locked places, like the sleeper cars. So maybe just keep all sleeper cars out of the game entirely. Other cars like the Quiet Car can be like a safe zone.

I've played pretty recently back home, but it was more of a training exercise so we were using our powers too. So this should be interesting.

That's part of what gave me the idea. At the meeting someone mentioned training days but how they had games, so I started thinking. This would just be a fun game though, this time. Not Training.

Yeah, it's definitely nice to have something like that sometimes.

I mean, don't get me wrong--I like training. But I...didn't have nearly enough chances to just...play, as a kid.

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you had a chance to find other things you like here on the train?

I have. I won't lie and say I'm not worried for my home, or where I was pulled from

But being here so far has actually been a very good thing, in my experience. Kidnapping and small spaces with no privacy aside.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Despite some things, being here hasn't been so bad.

There are definitely improvements we could have, but it's overall been a better thing for me at least. Not that I'm not worried about back home, but...

Well, we can only control so much at the moment.
