I'm addressing those of you with knowledge of medicine or magical healing. Some of my colleagues and I are planning to undertake an eye transplant by surgery and would be grateful for further expertise.

Several months ago, a combination of medicine and magic proved very effective in healing Xue Yang so we would like to replicate this success.

OOC: This is about Xiao Xingchen's eye transplant, Wen Qing will be happy to provide further information just not sharing detailed medical information with the entire train. Willow and Ichigo are already signed up for it, others are welcome. This will mostly be handwaved but you're welcome to involve your medical characters in this endeavor and play out all things research & prep & what else at your own leisure. That would be wonderful! [ Wen Qing looks uncharacteristically brightened by these news, relieved even. ] Anaesthetics have been a concern, as conventional medicine would require both highly specialized personnel and equipment. Your pain-blocking could solve that problem.

I have some small degree of magical based healing as well.

About where and when are you from? I'm from a version of the America in the early 2000s from Earth. I was raised in Azerath though, another dimension, by monks.

I'm from Qishan, in China. Our calendar is different, we count years by reigns. I don't know what year I come from by the calendar you use but going by the technology difference, it is the very distant past.

I'm probably from some point in your relative future then as well. Still, a lot of ancient remedies have proven viable so your knowledge is still very valuable. Thank you for sharing with us here.

Of course. I try to mostly focus on healing with my cultivation powers here, treating magical ailments. At home, I combine conventional medicine and cultivation in more depth but here I can only do that with my acupuncture, not with medicine since I don't have access to an entire apothecary.

Maybe we can order or make more medicine.

I'm thinking of it, now that we have more space in the medical carriage. I have saved up enough points that should get me quite a number of ingredients and tools I need for my work.

I only just got here, in a way, but I often don't use as many points as I get so in future I could help.
