[ The ICP flickers to life and in video, two individuals stand side by side. One is stern and still, with heavy eyes and crossed arms. The other with duo-colored hair is smiling, but their gaze is sharp and attentive. The announcement seems to be coming from the Dining car. ]

Good morning, everyone! After a rather … difficult … last mission, it seems that everyone’s scrambling for ideas, and answers. It’s … certainly been in my mind. Some have even called for a change in leadership, which is understandable, but I think might’ve ruffled a few feathers.

I really think that after everything we’ve been through, a fight about who’s running what is the last thing we need.

[ Roland transitions smoothly, with a nod in agreement. ]

Leadership’s always been about action, and in that sense, no one necessarily needs a title to be a leader in their own right. We’re all here to make train life a better place in our own way...so let’s do it. Let’s talk. No more barriers, no more walls. Just everyone who’s ever been interested to say anything about the train, coming together.

How’s the 18th of Imagination, sound? We can do it in the Music Room’s upper floor, so we maximize space.

[ Gen nodded, and added sheepishly: ]

Yes, so - Roland put things a lot better than I could, but he’s been here for a lot longer. But, pretty much, what he said!

Please - everyone, no matter what team, how involved you were in the mission - whether you saw things fall apart for yourself - please come. We’d want to speak to the Team Leads and the Council members, of course, but.

Now isn’t the time for us to bicker over power. We need to work together to find a better way to work - or more people are going to end up getting hurt.

[ Roland’s gaze grows more stern. Like he’s remembering something as he talks. Could just be the catch of the light. ]

There’s a lot we need to discuss either way. As one. Every voice heard, every talent taken into consideration so they’re exactly where they need to be.

[ Shrugging, Gen flourished a little with his hands, and said - ]

Ah! And there’ll be snacks! So even if you’re worried you might not have a great idea … if you’re feeling shy … you can at least come for the food, my friends.

Come for the candy! Stay for the attempts to keep us all from exploding. It’s a win-win!

[ And with that said, the two make their individual salutations - Roland nodding again and Gen waving nicely - before the announcement ends. ]

Thank you, my friend. If you could help us get the word out. I'm sure a lot of people are pretty frazzled after that mission - I wouldn't be surprised if some people are a bit too preoccupied to watch the ICP.

[ A thoughtful hum. ]

Well, I did offer snacks for everyone ... and then I realized, best case scenario, everyone means a lot of people.

Oh? [He taps the table with his fingers. That's pretty easy to solve.] You can leave some of that to me depending on what we got from the restock.

I'm a solid cook and I know how to make in bulk. Just need who has what allergies so I can take that into account!

I'm not exactly certain who can't eat what, I'll admit. I don't know everyone on the train that well. But I think we can rule out some of the most common things, and try to offer different options, maybe.

Have some varieties of snacks without nuts, some without wheat, some without dairy, and so on. I mean. Something I would want to suggest at the meeting itself is a way to ... register all of those kinds of concerns from passengers on the train, so we can keep track in the kitchen, maybe?

I don't think there's a formal way of doing it right now. I've talked about this with Tidus, but ... is there one?

There's not, I checked when I first got on board! Having a formal way to do it is something we absolutely need. I try to meal prep with the most common ones labeled but,

[There's a pause and slight rustle.] Yeah, I can do that. I'll make sure to do a lot of different options. Anything you want specifically while I'm at it?

[ Roland's been mostly quiet, listening in on his end, and is maybe a little bit more subdued than his usual sternness would allow him. But the talk of allergies and whatnot pulls at his attention, craning his head to the side after Galo speaks, so he can jump in naturally. ]

Then that's definitely something we should bring up to the community during our open chat. It's not impossible to do, either. Small acts like being aware of another person's allergies or diet can go a long way. Back home, we would have medical alert bracelets or necklaces for this.

[ He sounds sure and certain. ]

Vegan and vegetarian options, if that's doable, Galo? [ Two people already coming to mind. ] I'm no chef, but I'm an extra pair of hands that can follow directions pretty well. [ Roland throws a knowing look over at his companion for a moment. ] I'm pretty sure Gen here can attest. Just let me know and I'll be there to help you.

That is very true! Roland's a great pair of hands in a kitchen - if you've found leftover ramen noodles last month in the fridge, they're all thanks to him and my dear friend.

So, certainly, put him to work if you need the help. [ Gen winked. ]

[ He hummed. ]

As for what I'd like ... I'm partial to sweets, but probably having both sweet and salty snack options might be a good idea?

Yeah, of course we'd have both! Got to check what we got for supplies but I'm pretty sure we can make vegan and vegetarian options too.

And I always welcome another pair of hands. Especially when we'll be making sure there's no cross contamination and stuff like that! Did stuff like that all the time when making sure our whole team had what we wanted or needed.

Anyway, thanks for all of this. We definitely need to have a discussion after that last mission. I'll write down my ideas and thoughts too, to make sure I get it all out. I think we can make this pretty productive and come away as a better community for it.

Ah, there's no need to thank us. I'm sure many, many, many people were thinking these same thoughts, we just got them out there first.

Which is why it's really good we all come together to discuss them!
