[Masumi looks a little tired when the video starts, but that’s not stopping her from doing this once everyone is back on the train.]

That was...a mess. Some of us had to be evacuated from the mission, myself included, and I think the emergency evacuations exposed a major problem with the train layout. As of now, our one medical carriage is eighteen carriages away from Luggage, which is where people evacuate to. That’s way too far, since some people might not be able to make it all the way there on their own and trying to give medical aid in Luggage is unwieldy at best. At this point it might be best to suggest a second medical carriage, closer to Luggage, but if we can’t get that then trying to get the train to move Medical closer to Luggage would be an okay alternative.

[She pauses here, before moving on to the second topic she’d wanted to talk about.]

I also wanted to mention Fight Club. Missions can turn bad quick, as we just had happen on Nion, and earlier, during the mission on Terra. [Don’t ask her about that one.] I think more people should consider going to Fight Club, since there’s going to be more dangerous missions and we need to at least be able to protect ourselves if things go bad.

That's an excellent idea. Both of them are. Having a trauma car for post mission needs next to the luggage car would be great. I mean, I can move faster than anyone here aside from Grimmjow, but would need the doors held open to ferry people.

I didn't think of the second medical carriage as a trauma carriage, but that's a great idea too. Keep the existing one as it is, but have the second one with more capability for emergency situations since it'll be so close to Luggage.

[She's not medically trained, so she has no idea what that would look like compared to the one they already have.]

How fast we can get any injured to Medical is also something to keep in mind for the future, so thanks for mentioning that.

The hard part will be finding a way to get it so close to luggage since all the new cars seem to appear past the sleepers.

I'd ask for it to be placed next to Luggage instead of in the middle of the train if we get it, since if we want anything our best bet is to ask the train for it anyways.

I think there's supposed to be a place to make requests, but I'm not fully sure where to do that at.

It’s on the ICP, there’s a feature that lets you type in requests for the train. I haven’t used it before now, though.

[She’s planning to submit her request once this is done, so she’s a little uncertain about how it works beyond the basics.]

I'll make sure to make the request as well. That way, at least if someone is trailing blood from luggage, they won't trail it for 18 cars again.

I know Tidus mentioned also the idea of a 2nd kitchen car near luggage, but suggesting a 2nd medical car is also a good idea. Also, we didn't get time to really introduce ourselves before, I'm Trunks. Feel free to hit me up during Fight Club and I'd be happy to spar or teach what I can.

Yeah, I've been eating. I was hurt pretty badly during the fight, but I got some healing and should be fine now.

[Look, she's out of Medical now, it's fine.]

...Still tired, but I'm not surprised after all that.

[She'll be fine after a few days, but for now she's trying to keep going regardless.]

If you're still tired, just make sure to take breaks okay? That means you're still healing.

[Or still exhausted, if not healing. This was an argument Trunks had had many times with his mother, who also pushed herself to work too hard.]

Alright, I’ll try to take more breaks where I can. I can’t wear myself out, after all.

[Still, she’ll try to do as much as she can before taking a break. Even if she was one of the worst off after that mission and still worn out, she’s already trying to get back to normal now that she’s been allowed to leave Medical.]

And eat, and drink. That'll help give your body fuel to heal.

[Trust a half-saiyan to believe food solves most things.]

I'll be running around helping fetch and carry, but usually will have try to have some food and water bottles on me. Someone's gotta check in on everyone, and my first aid is barely basic at best. SO if you need to, feel free to poke me okay?

...I'll keep that in mind, then. I'd really rather not end up back in Medical because I wore myself out.

[She hadn't enjoyed being confined to a recovery room, even if she needed it at the time, but is also determined to do what she can now that she is out.]

I'm sure the medics would rather you didn't end up back there too. So take care of yourself alright? It's nice to meet you.

Asking the train about the med cars isn't a bad idea. If any of us needs a way to it quick when we're on here, we can ask Spider to take people down. For emergencies anyway.

[ Right? It's not like they should need the med cars for anything serious except for mission injuries. ...hopefully. ]

Hopefully we can get a new medical carriage before the next mission, since that's when serious injuries are most likely to happen, but until then it's a good idea to have someone who can get people there quickly.

[She breaks off on being asked if she was alright, but is quick to give an answer, given that it wasn't a secret that she was one of the injured during the mission.]

I'm fine, just a bit tired. I got medical attention after being evacuated, so I should be okay.

Well, least if the train'll do a switcheroo with where the cars are, it might be willing to listen to that before new cars.

[ Considering how fussy the train can be...! ]

That's good! I know it got pretty crazy. You used to seeing this kind of action? I'm used to fighting, but I hadn't seen so many machina before like we had out at the camp.

[ Geez. Did the planet seriously have that many? ]

I think the talk some people've been having about getting weapons like guns isn't a bad idea after all the lasers we had to deal with.

[None of that had been fun. A medical car next to Luggage is clearly desperately needed.]

No. I’ve never had to fight robots before that mission, and let’s just say that kicking robots isn’t too effective most of the time. Even I’m trying to find another way to protect myself before the next mission, since clearly JKD isn’t cutting it.

[ Just wait until Tidus sees the triage it's going to pull out-- ]

You can smack a robot down with a sword if you're dedicated, but that long-range if they have a laser really messes with anyone. [ Ugh- ] I think I can get some shields to help with that. We're gonna need to cover everything we can - I mean, last mission had those element sprites and the golems stomping around.

Don't remind me about the lasers. I found that out the hard way.

[The lasers had quite literally been a pain for Masumi, given that she had to get close to even have a shot at fighting back and had had no room to avoid said lasers.

She visibly perks up at the mention of getting shields, apparently curious about that if it might help on the next mission.]

Shields might be helpful for a lot of us. I know we could use a way to better defend ourselves, at least.

Some way to cover the people who aren't ready to fight either. We really don't get a lot of time to train. [ Which always brings them round to the same question - what can help? ]

Maybe we can talk about that with everyone. Not everyone's a fighter, but they'll still wanna help. [ Sigh- ] But thinking about this stuff's tough. You never know what the next mission's gonna be like!

Though if we can't get a separate car, teleportation pads are a good idea, too.

[She's thinking of Azmuth's setup, back in Nautilus.]

Not sure who here's got the tech for it, but being able to say exactly which carriage you want to go to, or type it, and not having to deal with crowds - that would be a lifesaver, too.

Want me to go ahead and send in the request for the new car, then?

Teleporters would be an excellent addition, if we can get them or can get someone to make them. For now I'm focusing on getting the second carriage since that seems more likely, but teleportation would be helpful as the train gets longer.

[She clearly hadn't considered teleporters before, judging by the look on her face, but it's something to keep in mind as a possible future idea.]

Yeah, go ahead and put in a request. I'll put one in as well, since multiple people asking for the same thing might help get it.

...I don't think so. I haven't had a chance to look at the roster lately, but I don't recall losing track of anyone.

[She'd have to double check that just to be sure, but as far as she's aware no one she knows has gone missing since the mission. She hopes that holds true too, as losing people right after that mission would just be an even harsher blow after what just happened.]

That's... better than it could be, I guess.

[She sighs. She's been doing that a lot lately, it feels like.]
