...my experiment in beer brewing was a success and I think after the voidstorm we might need it.

After the draughts I've set aside for certain interested parties it's first come first serve. If the Halloween party wants some, I'll bring a keg.

[ Laughing. Curufin is a brewer and distiller himself, but he's rarely gotten around to actually producing any booze for the train passengers. He's happy when somebody else does. ]

The smallest recipe I could find filled most of a 6 gallon fermenting keg.

We gotta bring our own bottles if we wanna take some? I would mind saving a few for later.

I fully intend to bottle most of it and only bring a small portion, along with glasses, to the party.

Naturally! It's a very fussy baby, and once I decant it, it'll throw a tantrum if we leave it undrunk.

And ourselves undrunk, at that.

The question is how much to bring. I'd like to bring enough for everyone to try it, but not enough that our kidneys will complain about working overtime shifts.

Hmm, well, I know D's got plans for all the carriages, so just put it wherever and check on it later?

If only to keep in practice for more powerful alchemies, yes.

Besides, no one can deny that we'll probably need it, between missions and voidstorms.

I do seem to recall you have opinions about beer?

Not me, but Cassie Cage. I've occasionally drunk various alcohol, but it's more socially if anything. For as rare as my social occasions were, and are.

[They were actually a lot more frequent on the train, than in his life before the train.]

The kitchen is actually large enough, if you only make five gallons at a time. We won't be a proper brewery, but for occasional libations and potionmaking it'll work just fine.
