Good day, everyone! [ Inigo smiles widely. ] I was wondering if anyone either has or knows of something rare and they wouldn't mind it.. erm, losing it.. probably permanently.
[ He's saying that statement as if he's only now realising how weird that sounds out loud.
But it's too late to go back on that now. ]
In exchange for a favour?
And preferably edible? But maybe not necessarily? Hey-- [ He turns away from the screen, seeming to have some mumbled discussion.
This is a totally normal ICP message. ]

While Inigo is still thinking, Jumblie is already moving at Tidus's words. She grabs the elixir, raising the bottle, and a moment later it's just gone.
.. well.
So far for just letter her have a sip. ]
Ah--! Wait, Jumblie, did you drink it? [ WITH BOTTLE AND ALL?
Jumblie just squeaks though, swaying her body from side to side. ]
Delicious!

...
... ... You are so lucky the train doesn't care about 'rarity'.
[ He's not upset, he's just. Well. That happened. ]
I guess elixirs count. [ Obviously. ] But... what else that's on the train? Are we really gonna get anything that anyone would wanna part with?
1/2
[ Apparently despite the lack of upset on Tidus's face, Inigo feels the need to say this much anyway. His momentary panic is almost comedic in the fact of how happy Jumblie seems to be right now. ]
no subject
And.. I don't know. I thought I'd just ask and see what people have that I can try out. I just want to make sure of what exactly is rare by her standards before I waste points on things she doesn't like. And I want her to be able to eat things she likes! [ Not to mention Jumblie is so cute! Look at her jumping around, Tidus. Is she not a princess worthy of the very best? ]
no subject
... ] Do you think she'd like a dress?
[ He's had this thought before, but-! ] She's got a little sunhat. What about a sundress? Do higgledies wear clothes?
[ They certainly wear headdresses! ]
no subject
[ Now that's a thought.
At first it just seems to surprise Inigo, like it's something he himself hadn't even considered before. But as he thinks about it, his gaze traveling over towards Jumblie.. ]
I don't know. They don't seem very bothered by being naked, do they? [ Or, well, technically naked. Does a concept like 'naked' even exist when all higgledies look this way? ] But.. it'd be cute, wouldn't it? Jumblie in a dress. She'd look adorable.
[ Even more than she already does! ]
no subject
[ Heey? Hey? Tidus is eyeing him, daring and grinning. ]
no subject
Well, I'd need to learn how to sew first.. [ It's a - perhaps surprisingly - serious answer. It sounds like he's already considering it all as he speaks. ] I've never tried to do so before. Do you think it's hard?
no subject
So you just have to cut it out the right size and sew it, right? You can get a book and... a sewing kit! Maybe you can get the train to throw you in some practice fabric.
Or borrow Webs's scraps. [ That's an idea too. ]
no subject
Please, no. [ Nothing against her, it's just--!! ] She's a girl.
[ Yes, that's the part that bugs him more than the spider part. Don't make him talk to more girls than the ones he's already close with, Tidus. ]
I can just buy it from the shop, I have points. Do you know whether a lot of potions were used up during the last mission or not? [ Because he'll at least prioritize that ahead of his own little projects, okay. ]
no subject
ugh, okay, whatever! ]
Nah, we're fine for potions. [ He's still looking at Inigo in disbelief, but- ] So a book, sewing kit, and fabrics. Fifty-eight points?
no subject
Inigo can't help but blink though as Tidus says that so easily. ]
You figured all that out just now? In your head?
[ Yes, Inigo. It's called basic addition. And also using the shop more than you do. ]
I feel like I should just keep letting you order stuff for me. [ With Inigo's ticket, of course, but Tidus feels like some weird kind of shop expert ever since that day where he decided to spend Inigo's points on mission supplies and stuff for Inigo - getting stuff from there like it's nothing. ]
no subject
Then you can tell the train it sucks a lot easier. [ Or quicker. Or both. ] All it is is getting used to where the letters are when you type.
[ Aha. A grin. ] Should we get you to leave the train messages everyday instead of Roland?
no subject
[ Though Inigo is very naturally friendly, but do you think this guy ever realises even a single one of his strengths? Of course not. He's already frowning a bit while thinking of it.
But much different than before, a long time ago, he doesn't reject the suggestion outright. He figures it couldn't hurt to send the train some messages too.. This is more him still just considering it while whining. ]
Besides, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get used to typing. I've done it so often now! [ Relatively, anyway. ] And I never get any faster! Sometimes I forget what I wanted to say in the middle of a sentence since it's going so slow.
no subject
We can set you up homework. [ Does Inigo even know what that is. ] Give you a few lines to type out, and you just have to do them over and over. 'Til you get used to where the keys are.
no subject
So he's just going to glance over that word for now. ]
Hey, Tidus? I'm not quite sure I have enough hours in a day to do everything you're setting me up for. [ It - surprisingly, maybe? - doesn't sound like a complaint though. Not even a whine. It's not like Inigo hasn't been enjoying most of it, after all, but.. well. It's getting a little obvious at this point, isn't it.
It's why there may even be a slightly joking edge to it. ]
no subject
What else have you got to do on the train? It's not like I'm telling you to do everything everyday! Just, you know- it's there. Whenever. [ He waves a hand. ]
no subject
[ Though his tone just now almost makes it sound like he's whining about not whining.. But he disregards it quickly, instead smiling as he moves away from the ICP to instead sit down on the seat next to Tidus, leaning slightly against the other with his side. ]
I was just joking. I appreciate it. I know you're trying to help me. [ Especially since Tidus has quite explicitly said before that he wanted to help Inigo find a hobby. And man, has he ever lived up to that. ] I mean, you know I've been having much more fun here than I had before you showed up here, right?
[ Especially since the time before he even got to know his other friends - Bucky, Nita, Taiki. It had been pretty lonely. ]
no subject
So you should be! I'm a fun guy! [ Haha! ] But I'm glad. I mean... I wouldn't want you to think I'm suffocatin' you with fun, you know? [ Right? ] But it's fun for me too. Learning all these new things about you, even Roland, figuring out what you like.
And you know... those paper folding things wasn't that bad. It was kinda fun. [ And fussy- ] Once you get into it. I'd never done it before.
[ So even he was trying new things. ]
no subject
I liked that too. [ He admits, less jokingly and more genuine now. Maybe since they're sitting this close together, and he has that arm around him. It's nice. ] And I liked learning how to swim, though I wish there was an easier way to practice more.
[ You know, like a pool car-- ]
So I can get better and you don't have to drag me around next time we go swimming. Then we can just have fun together.
no subject
I'll see if I can get my roommate to help. You know, S'reee. [ Help how? By the cunning tone his voice takes on- ]
We can make a public call that sleeping in a tub for so long's been doing her bad, and we can really do with that swimming pool. Really tug on the heartstrings!
[ A plea for help. Won't everyone feel bad for the poor mini-whale? ]
How can they ignore a cry for help like that?
no subject
[ Even Inigo himself isn't too sure whether he's amused or exasperated over the idea. He's examused. Amuserated. Somewhere in the middle, which makes him both sigh and smile. ]
And I also think you're severely underestimating how excited certain people seem about the whole spa thing.
[ Like.
You know.
Roland, probably. Did you see him back there in the hot springs, bro? ]
no subject
A pool's way more fun. If we get the spa this month, then we'll do the plea for help next month! It's way too late to start now anyway - you need to do it before people start voting.
[ A pause. He's been idly gesturing through this, but his hand stops now. ]
Also, it's not exploiting if S'reee agrees with it.
[ Please, Inigo! ]
no subject
Are you just going to ask her "hey, do you mind if I use you to get us a pool car?"
[ Asked in all seriousness.
Are you that shameless, Tidus. No, you, please! ]
no subject
Inigo.
I am going to ask if the sea creature who's spent the last two months stuck to a tiny tub if she would like to explain to the rest of the train why a pool would do her good.
Why this isn't a frivolous request.
Why we'll be making her life better!
[ He puts his free hand onto Inigo's arm. ] Wouldn't you want someone looking out for you if it was you...?
