Good day, everyone! [ Inigo smiles widely. ] I was wondering if anyone either has or knows of something rare and they wouldn't mind it.. erm, losing it.. probably permanently.
[ He's saying that statement as if he's only now realising how weird that sounds out loud.
But it's too late to go back on that now. ]
In exchange for a favour?
And preferably edible? But maybe not necessarily? Hey-- [ He turns away from the screen, seeming to have some mumbled discussion.
This is a totally normal ICP message. ]

[Nita, for her part, looks quite sheepish now.]
Ah, sorry for that, then.
... I could probably come up with a few dishes I encountered in the Crossings, though do they need a description or just a name?
[In some cases, Nita only has the description.]
no subject
[ Though he appreciates her quick offer, smiling slightly. ]
I wouldn't want to waste points when they could be used to buy supplies or important other things, you know? So I need to figure out first exactly what's considered 'rare' in the first place.
no subject
Well, I don't exactly have any rare foods with me.
Would 'rare' be enough as 'only from one world', or simply only known to one person?
[Tidus is welcome to hijack if he wants to answer this question.]
no subject
I was assuming it might be both. Maybe as long as something is rare in some way? She's very sweet, so I can't imagine she's too picky.. [ Although asking for rare things to eat in the first place is weird, man. Inigo never anticipated this part of
petbuddy care. ]I was thinking of seeing if she'd like to eat the flowers I'm growing in the greenhouse that I took along from other worlds, but I'd kind of feel bad no longer having those around.
no subject
Wait, who's 'she' in this scenario?
Is she some sort of herbivore? Not sure what you'd call someone whose diet consists of rare foods, though...
no subject
[ You could've been clear about that from the start, Inigo..
But he doesn't seem to realise that, instead just smiling. ]
My new friend! Have you ever seen Roland's little friend out and about? She's like that too!
no subject
I... don't think I've met her yet, actually.
Roland introduced me to Bambosh, but I hadn't seen that he'd brought other-
[She snaps her fingers.]
Higgledies, that's it! Other higgledies onboard.
I'd like to see her, though.
no subject
So he keeps smiling with a nod. ]
Then come right over to see her! I'm in my room. I'm sure she'd love to meet you.
[Video]->[Action]
[And indeed, she will; open to a hug if Inigo desires, but she has a greeting for Jumblie as well:]
/Dai Stiho to you, too. What's up?/
She hadn't been able to understand Bambosh's response the last time, but that's no excuse to be rude!

[ Inigo looks pretty happy to see her, apparently having refound some of his usual energy ever since how down he seemed back on the day the train last stopped at a platform. And although it's always a little hard to tell with Inigo, it sure doesn't seem forced or fake.
Especially with how easy his smile is.
He doesn't hug her - yet! - because he wants Jumblie to have the spotlight, but he grins wider as he glances between the higgledy and Nita as Jumblie bows for her.
And then that hug does follow. But it's not from Inigo. It's just the tiny, tiny higgledy running over to Nita, attaching itself to Nita's shins in a hug.
It makes Inigo laugh. ]
I think she likes you.
no subject
First her eyebrows go up - and then comes her own grin in turn, laughing lightly as the higgledy rushes in.]
I think I like her, too.
[She does encourage Jumblie to climb up to her arms so it's less awkward to move, though.]
no subject
She is rather likeable, isn't she? Can you now see why I wanted to spoil her? She deserves it!
[ It's there that Jumblie pipes up, letting out a few squeaky 'higs!', much like Roland's own higgledy sounded. ]
Roland said her whole deal is that she just wants to make people happy.
no subject
Oh, definitely.
[And that goal sounds... oddly familiar, really. But it's also one she can support.]
You two do suit each other, I have to say.
So - rare foods, huh? Probably something symbolic there.
no subject
And.. well, the odd thing is that it didn't even specify that it had to be food. Jumblie here told me that she can have anything. [ He gestures at the higgledy that's happily clinging to Nita at this point, completely latched onto her in a hug. ] But I'm not so sure how I feel about feeding her stuff that isn't edible for humans, you know? And that's even aside from me still having no idea what would be rare to her.
no subject
[Turning back to Jumblie, she asks:]
/You're not looking for one-of-a-kind books or toys too, are you?/
[Her tone lightens, but the question is serious.]
no subject
Thankfully Inigo is here as a higgledy interpreter though, nodding along as Jumblie lets out a few high-pitched 'hiig!'s. ]
I think she's saying anything is fine, as long as it's rare..?
no subject
I'd say wizardry's pretty rare in the multiverse at large; would a spell work?
[She's basing this on her own experience, of course.]
no subject
Neat enough that he only seems to realise what its purpose was after Nita speaks up.. Right, the higgledy! ]
A spell? I don't know..
[ He was thinking about food, but if Jumblie is saying it doesn't have to be something humans would consider food.. ]
I guess we could try? Can you hand it over to her? Uh.. [ He glances between Nita and the light. ] .. However.. that would work, anyway.
[ Don't ask him! He's not the magic guy! ]
no subject
Well, how about it, Jumblie? Is this any good for you?
[Nita won't be offended or anything if the answer is no, though she would be sad about disappointing Inigo!]
no subject
And at least the higgledy does seem interested in the light. She stares at it, putting her stumpy arms out as if to touch it..
.. but then she turns to Inigo, shaking her head with a 'hig! hig pig!' ]
She's saying she can't eat that.
[ Maybe since it's just.. light? Then again, Jumblie herself is like a living, tiny sun person!
Though as Inigo glances over at Jumblie, it now looks as if she's trying to play with the light, letting out tiny happy noises. ]
But I think she's using it as a toy anyway. [ There's a hint of amusement in his tone. Hey, at least that means it's not all bad! ]
/frantically attempts to look up 'eater of words', ends up building word from scratch/
[Since the Speech was just words, and spells physical manifestations of them...]
Still; as long as she likes it.
[Nita smiles, a touch wry but pleased all the same.]
She can definitely keep it!
[The spell's energy was finite, but Nita is happy to make more.]
no subject
[ Inigo smiles at Nita, and then looks over at Jumblie, grinning at the tiny thing. ]
Did you hear that, Jumblie? You can keep that to play with!
[ The higgledy looks over at him as he says it. Sure, her expression may not change much - since it never does - but something about her seems excited anyway. She starts running around, pushing the light ahead of her.
It makes Inigo laugh. ] Thank you, Nita. I truly owe you one for making my new little friend so happy.
no subject
[Nita reminds him gently - even as she steps forward to gently poke him in the shoulder.]
... That, and I can't think of any good favors right now; I'm not going to hold you to anything when I don't have ideas myself!
[And for now, watching Jumblie play is genuinely too cute.]
