Hello, everyone!

[ Mami's standing at the ICP in the kitchen, and behind her it's easy to see that she's laid out some items on the counter. ]

The month's more than halfway over, and I realized we haven't taken full advantage of one of our culinary options this month! We have all the ingredients needed to make pizza!

[ Jazz hands. As a lover of all Italian cuisine...the basics are up there too! She then opens her notebook, and holds up a drawing she's done of a basic cheese pizza. ]

The best things about pizza are that it's easy to make, easy to eat, and customizable! We don't have the ingredients for every type of pizza under the sun, but there are lots of options! I've made a toppings bar and laid out some crusts if anyone wants to try it with me, and there's both marinara sauce and white sauce.

[ She holds up some of the toppings she's sliced: ham, bacon, onions, peppers, diced tomato, shrimp, bamboo shoots, various shredded cheeses...and pineapple. ]

I hope to see you! And...there are a few dear friends I'd like to see afterward, too.

[Guess who's also making an appearance? It's a boy of unfortunate name - wait, this is pizza, not pasta Alfredo!

Romeo may or may not have been responsible, but even being from Italy, Alfredo hasn't seen pizza like this before - let alone the range of toppings!]

Wow... we don't have to try all the toppings at once, right?

[He may be worried about accidentally using the last of someone else's preferred supply.]

No, of course not! You just pick and choose what you like.

[ she smiles encouragingly]

Start with sauce.

[Which means he goes for the tomato sauce first with the presumption he's washed his hands before coming down here, spooning it carefully to spread evenly around the dough.

He does not need to be directed to the cheese, much as he goes back to staring at the rest of the ingredients afterwards.]

How do those bamboo shoots taste? I've- Well, I've heard of them, but haven't had them before.

Oh, they're crunchy. Adds a little extra texture to it. Want to try one?

... Yes, please.

[He takes two - one to put on the pizza, like someone would a cherry on their sundae, and another he just outright crunches tentatively.

He looks surprised.]

It's... it tastes very fresh!

[A big compliment, given how much of the train's stores are, well, stores.]

Good! I'm glad.

Do you want to try building a pizza now?

[Alfredo nods.]

Though I'm not sure if I should try one with all the toppings first - what if it heats up unevenly?

...then I'd start small. Maybe one with just cheese, and maybe one more topping?

I could make one to have now, and have another set for later?

[He's not quite hungry enough for two pizzas! ... As far as he knows.

But with that settled, he lets himself finish off both bamboo pieces, making sure the remaining cheese is spread evenly.]

[ She grins, checks one more time, and pops it in the oven. ]

Won't be long now.

These ovens must be a lot more efficient than the ones I'm used to.

[But then, this was a simple pizza; it wasn't the sort of dinner that would take hours to heat up properly...
