Hi everyone. [He offered a friendly wave.]
Okay, so, question. We're all crammed onto this train, right? And we don't have a lot of privacy, which, all right, I'm starting to get used to, but. What if we want to do something special for someone? Like...a date.
I've never done dates on a train before, I don't really know what to do. And before someone brings it up, I can't really...cook. I mean, I guess we could cook something together, but.
So, date ideas. Does anyone have them? I'd really appreciate it.

Though, this is all said without knowing the person in question.
[ He tapped a finger against his chin. He had some, but he's unwilling to give them up. Gen doesn't let on. ]
Why not craft your own? I remember some people making paper flowers, they were quite lovely. Longer lasting, too.

[People had made paper flowers? Where was he when that had happened.]
That's a great idea. Except I have no crafty skills at all, and I have no idea how I'd make paper flowers.
[And this wasn't home, he couldn't just use the internet to look up some patterns or something.]

Why not ask around? There's a few crafty, artistic types on the train. I think they'd be happy to show you how, one of them was going to start an art class ...

I'll consider it. It's not a bad idea.
[Even if he didn't want to bother anybody about paper flowers. A lot of the people here were friendly anyway, and offering to teach others how to do things.]
Thanks.

[ Complete honesty to a relative stranger, just for once - ]
I wish you and your date the best. Good luck!

[He almost said 'you too' out of habit, but managed to stop himself at the last second and avoid embarrassing himself.]
Hopefully, everything'll go great.
