Ayakashi are bad monsters that want to make people sad so they can eat them! If you touch them you get blight but then also shinki sometimes get blight for other reasons too and gods can get blight off their shinki.

What do you need it for?

It helps wash blight away and blight can be really bad for shinki and for their gods so it is good to have some in case something bad happens.

I don't use water, but I can 'wash' it with my spiritual power.

I have done so for Elves in danger of Fading before.
