In my efforts to expand our medical supplies and capabilities, I want to be able to establish a blood bank. If you are willing to donate blood to be typed and crossed for use in medical emergencies by other passengers on the train, please reply here as I will be making a list. While I am hoping to get as many people as possible, this is VOLUNTEER ONLY. I will not force anyone to donate. Donations will happen after the next platform once I am able to secure the needed equipment and storage facilities.

But... I'm going to guess that me volunteering for this is not a good idea.

[Also Danny may have forgotten that this is Ichigo's first time seeing him as a human.]

Woah, you actually look different back in your body. [He assumes Danny is like him and can leave his body at will.]

It is entirely up to you. If you choose to participate, only you would get your blood. There's a reason why I'm wanting a personalized supply, I'm not sure my blood would be safe for anyone else, either.

[Danny stares at him in confusion.]

What do you mean back in my body? This is just what I look like when I'm human.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. [A shrug.]I'm pretty sure I have ectoplasm in my blood,and I'm really not sure how safe that would be for anyone else.

[Ichigo stares back in equal confusion]

Wait, you don't have to leave your body to get to your spirit form?

You do?

Well...yeah. That's why my combat pass was in the bottom of my bag when I got here, so I can leave my body.

Danny had to stand here and boggle for a moment.

"So... when you're out doing ghost things, you just leave your body somewhere?"

He shakes his head. "Far as I can tell, the accident fused ectoplasm into my DNA. I'm literally part ghost now. Doing stuff like being intangible or throwing around ghost energy is easier when I turn into a ghost." Here he allows his eyes to glow green for a second. "But I can use ghost energy when I look like this too."

Well, normally I have Kon. He's what's called a mod soul, they're made by soul reapers to operate their false bodies when they're on missions in the living world. Kon was part of the first batch, too much independence for the likes of the higher ups so he was supposed to be destroyed.

But he wasn't and I ended up with him. Now he just uses my body when I'm not in it, ruins my reputation by being an absolute pervert, and helped me pass high school.

"Sorry, I just keep thinking of what would happen if I let any of the ghosts back home run around with my body while I was busy... and all the disasters that would cause."

Honestly, he didn't need any help ruining his reputation.

Ichigo let out a low whistle and shook his head. "Yeah, that's not something I usually have to worry about. I just have to make sure no one thinks I've died." Which was part of Kon's purpose.

"Did that actually happen? I mean, I'm usually good unless someone tries to take my vitals. All of this messing around with leaving your body behind sounds really complicated."

"Thankfully only once. Then I got Kon, and while he has damaged my reputation, at least no one has tried to declare me dead."
