Uhh, I'm not on the council, [ --was this just for the council? a few of them came out, who knows, headers don't exist icly! ] but did you ask any the other medics 'bout this? What did they say?

I have not yet consulted the other medics about this. It's more modern than Wen Qing-sensei is accustomed to, and I have yet to actually see The Doctor to speak with him on the matter. If I sit around and wait for others to do this, I would have no right to face my father or my instructors when I am able to return back to my world. Inaction can only cause harm.

Sure, but talking to the medics on the train's got to be better for figuring out who'll be able to use this stuff and who're using the rooms, right? How easy's doing all this with the blood in the first place?

Doing the drawing is easy, if a bit time consuming. Tony-san and I have come to an agreement about what fridges to use, I just need the points to get them and then the draw kits. They are smart fridges, meaning they have built in computers that Tony-san can program to connect to the ICPs to show which one has who's blood in them. Out of all the medical staff we have, I am the only certified phlebotomist as far as I know. That means I am certified to draw blood and set up transfusions. I am also very good at it.

Hmm...

How about you guys in medical have a kind of list or-- you know, a way of saying 'hey, I can do this and this'? Makes it easy for you to know who's available to help and who can do what and when in a hurry, right?

Especially if this blood stuff is important.

No prob. Do you guys need anything on the healing side? The med cars can have elixirs for worst case emergencies. We're saving them for that too on missions.

If you got someone with a deep puncture or broken bones, they can fix them up like that. [ He snaps his fingers. ] They're a life saver.

Oh, those'll be damn handy. We'll need to remember to take those along on the next mission.

Sure, I'll see if I can get more too. Or you guys can put them on a list for medical storage--ask for megalixirs if you do.

You can cut them down into about three bottles. Has the same effect!

Do they do anything to replenish lost blood? Because otherwise time will be of the essence for deep punctures. When it comes to blood loss, the body has a threshold of where it can replenish its blood with rest and hydration alone and where it needs a transfusion.

Elixirs? [ There's a small laugh. ] Only thing they don't do is grow your limbs back! But you take it, and it doesn't matter what state you were in before.

You could be barely moving one moment, then the next you're up and ready to keep on fighting.

[ Roland's voice comes out pretty sharp and clear, here, even if it's steady in tone. ]

Did you pass out after that mission?

[ Undertone: Without asking for aid??? After you give him a tantrum about not doing the same??? How dare you kid!! ]

[ What, where, who?? Who invited Roland into his screen?? ]

When? Who said that? What?

[ You can't just get ready to scold him out of nowhere, what did he do?! ]

[ That Tone and That Look. You're getting the full Roland combo. ] Glorfindel mentioned that you crashed after the mission. You were tapped out. [ ARMS CROSSED. ] Tidus, after giving me a lecture of your own about calling for aid when you need it, I would assume you practice what you preach.

[ HE'S WORRIED OKAY??? ]

Huh...? [ It takes him a second to even think about the mission, when granted there's only one for him to think about (maybe?), but- ]

I went to bed! I got asked to heal someone with broken ribs and went to sleep right after! What do you guys think happened to me?

[ He opens and closes his mouth once. ] I wasn't gonna leave the guy in agony!

[ He sighs, partially out of relief, but also...guilt. Roland should have been more careful to hide his own wounds; he just knew the healers were going to be running on little to no energy but Tidus still - ]

[ No, he was going to be more logical about this. If Tidus assured him it was fine, it had to be fine. At least it wasn't as bad as his worst case scenario was. So he does allow himself to relax a bit. ]

...You did the right thing. I'm just glad to hear you didn't actually faint, or worse. [ He doesn't let up though. ] What items from your world can replenish stamina? I'm ordering more next platform day. Keep it in your Arms Band, next to your snacks so you don't forget them.

[ Ughhhhh, Tidus is sighing, mentally and otherwise. ] I was fine, Roland. I was up all night fighting that giant thing and its little guys. I wasn't hurt or weak, just--tired, you know? I didn't want more healing. I wanted to go to bed.

[ He gets it, especially with how Roland can be himself. But he tries, reassuring: ] I got caught up healing when I shouldn't, but it was a good thing. Inigo didn't need to worry. You saw me the next day, remember? He did too!

[ He was sluggish, sure--but he couldn't be accused of anything grave. ]

[ He looks confused for a moment. ] Inigo? Wait...

[ Inigo's hands were scratched up with small cuts. He said he helped Gerome. Gerome also said he got caught in a rock slide. Now Tidus says 'Inigo didn't need to worry.'

...! ]

I think I get the whole picture, now. [ His brows furrow, arms still crossed tightly against his chest. ] It was Gerome who broke his ribs, with Inigo there to help him out. Inigo went to you for aid, and you healed him.

[ His eyes are hard, downcast. He's just thinking of things, don't mind him! ]

It's not a big deal. [ If it wasn't apparent Inigo had said something, he wouldn't even name the guy, but Tidus shrugs regardless, unwilling to turn this into more than it needs to be. ]

He's okay and I'm okay. Not like someone else we know. [ And have the most obvious flat stare, Roland. ]

Glor overreacted. Or Inigo. Whoever did.

[ Sure, have his own stare-down back! :| ]

Don't know who you're talking about.

[ He's just honestly happy to know Tidus didn't actually get hurt, though his overprotective side is slowly showing. Doesn't help that things have been percolating inside of him for a while now, since Jema'grethy... ]

Regardless, I'll put this into consideration. Ordering more healing items will put less strain on magic users who get tired healing; I'll prioritize it so everyone has equal access to first aid. That way, serious injuries like broken ribs can be healed without debilitating the caster.

[ He frowns, wanting to reject the idea, but it isn't really bad. Not for the long run, even though the circumstances make him fidget, uncomfortable. ]

Just don't make a big deal out of it, yeah? You know what Inigo's like.

[ Well, it's not untrue, but it's not for him that Tidus is feeling awkward. ]

But-- megalixirs. They're good for worse case scenarios. Or 'x-potions', I think. We had them more than elixirs. [ Ah- ] You should talk with Spider too. See what else she can do with her fabrics.

Of course I won't. [ He shakes his head; like it's a given. Because it is. For both of them. But he can't help his own worry, coming from a different place, a different perspective. ] I'm not going to give him a reason to fret or cry again. Not if I can help it.

[ Roland is glancing down. You can bet he's written it down already, from his ICP by the cabin. ] Got it. I've been meaning to talk to her too, anyway. I'll get more of those 'house plants' from Evan's world, too. [ Slight smirk. Roland remembers how Tidus referred to the soreaways. ] They can be grown, so replenishing them won't be a constant transaction.

[ Has Roland been making Inigo cry? --he's not going to ask about it over the network, so he'll stick to health talk. That's somewhat easier.

The 'house plants' nearly confuse him though, but then he clicks on. ]

I should hope so! We can get more potions for the price of one of those. But taking care of those is up to you and the green fingers.
