Thought I'd give you all a fun little heads-up: I've booked the theater tomorrow night for a showing of my dad's 90s Hong-Kong-by-Hollywood classic, Ninja Mime. There'll be popcorn, snacks, and plenty of kicky punchy fun for all ages. I hope to see you there!

If you have any questions about what the movie's about or whether it's any good that somehow aren't already answered by the title, hit me up. Otherwise, all you've gotta do is be there...and prepare to be amazed.

[Cassie's world does indeed have issues. The fact that there are FIVE movies in the Ninja Mime franchise is, by far...one of them.]

Hey, don't sweat it. The fight scenes are great. And most of the haters don't understand it's supposed to be a comedy.

[She won't go to bat for every dumb movie her father ever made, but she'll defend this one. Albeit not completely unironically.]

So, to answer your question...no. It's mostly an excuse to justify mime-based fight choreography.
