[It appears that someone's making good use of the ICP for the Garden Carriage- at the very least it's easier than trying to use any communication off something from his wrist. As it stands- Katsuya grins, something silvery dangling around his neck quite obviously against the blue of his sweater.]

Hey! Turns out, I was able t' get another 'f my team here, [he cheers.] Order instruction's make me figure I won' be able t' get anyone else but...I figure tha's f'r th' best. Bit big f'r th' train, [he remarks with a shrug. Stepping slightly out of view so that the ICP can display the rest of the immediate area, he continues.]

But here she is! Amar!

['Amar' no doubt refers to the extremely round little sheep plodding around near the sand. Smaller than even Katsuya's relatively miniscule pony, who seems to be watching as well, the 13 pound ball of wool abruptly tucks her legs in to roll a bit down the path before stopping to bleat.]

Amar's m' wooloo- she's abou' 's friendly as Kaseri, so if y' see 'er around, don' feel shy, go on an' pet her! She's as soft as a pillow!

Ah.. yes, dad really is the coolest!

[ She's glad to see Katsuya agree with that sentiment - a wide smile immediately spreads across Madoka's face as she nods. Clearly both he and Kaseri have good taste.

Though it's the other part that makes her pause more. ]

Mnh. Well...fr'm what I heard w'th Eva, all th' pokemon where she's from are like...animals. Ev'n th' ones tha' look like rocks 'r somethin'.

Um, I-- I guess places could exist out there that have living rocks.. I actually kind of think the idea of rocks being animals is a little stranger! At least if they're just living rocks, then you can just think of them as magical rocks. Like they're from a fairytale or something!

Yeah! Like, a rock, but alive! I don' think it'd be like...an animal rock in Eva's world, more like an animal pr'tendin' to be a rock though, righ'?

An' tha's pretty much th' difference. I mean...I dunno 'f it's magic, but a lotta stuff w'th th' pokemon back on Alola at least felt magic half th' time. Eva's world...

I don' wanna say it feels 'real', but it feels...more 'real', I guess? I mean Alola was real jus'...

[he shrugs.] I dunno, it was kinda like livin' in a cartoon- where nothin' goes wrong, y'know?

[ It's not like Madoka knows a whole lot about Eva's world, but she can still kind of understand the point Katsuya is trying to make there - even though she's never seen either world. Just the cartoon description makes her slowly nod her head. ]

It must have been weird to have been in that kind of world, only to end up here.. Um, I mean, some things here definitely do seem like they might come out of a cartoon, but.. I guess saying nothing goes wrong wouldn't really be accurate for this place..

Eh, 's no issue. I mean, I was 'n my own world b'fore Alola righ'? So 'f anythin', it's more like I'm in a mix of both places now. Got th' dimension hoppin', and the rules 'f reality tha' make sense!

Duel Monsters is gettin' pretty big though thanks t' like, all th' holograms an' such goin' int' it; so if y've met any of th' others int' tha' game, now y' know! I'm from like...not their world, but almost their world!

Madoka may have gotten a slightly skewed perspective thanks to Yugi's cards. ]

I don't think I ever asked him about his world, but mine has card games too, so maybe it's a lot like my own...

Hah! Well, tha's some cards, sure. Plenty 'f others though, an' I'd hope y' don' like the ones tha' ain't cute girls less for it, [he laughs.]

But yep- y' normally play it on a table, but lately back home folks were getting into duel disks as a thing- lifesized holograms bein' more cool than' jus' card art an' all tha'.

Honestly, I'd bet it is- if you got skyscrapers, planes, an' cars, it's probably abou' th' same I figure.

[ She eagerly nods along. Madoka is so used to meeting people from all kinds of fantasy places by now that it's almost a relief to hear Katsuya talking about such a normal world.. ]

I don't think we had that specific card game though.. [ She wonders if maybe it could be a local thing? Or maybe they're from worlds that are very similar, but just slightly different? ] But.. ah, I'm still kind of glad to hear that. Sometimes it's a little hard when you mention something that's completely normal to you, yet the other person has no idea what it is, you know..? At least I won't have to worry about that as much with you, I'm glad.

[ She smiles. ]

[ Madoka can't help but think it might have been a lot better if they would have had cards too instead of magical girls..

But then again, it's not like Madoka knows anything about the Wild Stuff that happens over in Yugioh land.

It's the last thing Katsuya says, coupled with that grin, that makes her smile a bit wider though. His enthusiasm is just very contagious! ]

Right..! As long as you don't mind, anyway-- I wouldn't want to be a bother!

Hoh! Of course it ain'! 'F answerin' shit was a burden, I'd be screwed w'th how many questions I gotta ask~!

[It's truly touch and go on who's got it better here.]

[ Okay, maaaybe the way Katsuya speaks is pretty rough around the edges. But she thinks it's endearing in its own way, so she giggles all the same. ]

[ Because she's still excited at the possibility of a new friend..! ]
