VIDEO - GRASSHOPPER DAY 16 (LATE)
[It appears that someone's making good use of the ICP for the Garden Carriage- at the very least it's easier than trying to use any communication off something from his wrist. As it stands- Katsuya grins, something silvery dangling around his neck quite obviously against the blue of his sweater.]
Hey! Turns out, I was able t' get another 'f my team here, [he cheers.] Order instruction's make me figure I won' be able t' get anyone else but...I figure tha's f'r th' best. Bit big f'r th' train, [he remarks with a shrug. Stepping slightly out of view so that the ICP can display the rest of the immediate area, he continues.]
But here she is! Amar!
['Amar' no doubt refers to the extremely round little sheep plodding around near the sand. Smaller than even Katsuya's relatively miniscule pony, who seems to be watching as well, the 13 pound ball of wool abruptly tucks her legs in to roll a bit down the path before stopping to bleat.]
Amar's m' wooloo- she's abou' 's friendly as Kaseri, so if y' see 'er around, don' feel shy, go on an' pet her! She's as soft as a pillow!

'Artificial' implies deliberate creation, or that I am somehow less alive than other beings. The latter is a matter of consciousness-slash-self-awareness and thus not truly falsifiable; anyone could say anyone else 'isn't' self-aware.
As to the former, I'll admit my creation was largely accidental.

[Guess he can't argue that.] I dunno that it'd mean less, or anythin' like tha' but...huh. Guess I can't argue jus' comin' outta nowhere...
no subject
[Though that doesn't stop it permeating into more general conversations...]
And then there's the matter of civil rights, though that is a larger issue than one that just concerns those 'coming out of nowhere.'

[He knew quite a few who did back home, of course, and Ran Mouri was among those here who also did. He appreciated them all the more for it.]
Though, there do not appear to be laws here that concern it, one way or the other.

Huh, yeah, seemed kinda lawless fr'm what I gathered...well, not 'ntirely I s'ppose, but it's kinda nice t' see more common sense ones somewhere.

[His existence hadn't been obvious to everyone from the start, after all, but when your Internet starts having a mind... Things change.]
But it wasn't an immediate process.

[But he's smiling - perhaps ruefully so, if he were human!]
Are you considering another duel? Though I can understand if you would prefer not to, after how the last one ended.
[/handwaving that he was watching, because he wouldn't NOT have gone!]
no subject
..Wait, you talkin' abou' th' pokemon match?
no subject
Yes; apologies for the terminology.
[He's also attended Yugi and Kaiba's duel, for the record.]

I dunno t' be hones' though. I get th' feelin' they're way more serious where Eva's from, y'know? Kinda intense... [Also as the battle went on it felt like being on the other side of his world's Kaiba when she's serious, and that was scary.]
no subject
[Webmind, being blunt.]
Though I understand that was not her intention either.
no subject
Firs' 'f all, tha' never happens in th' world my guys are from, but th' other thing is, I think they're made 'f sturdier stuff; not tha' she doesn' have a point abou' bein' cautious, but Kaseri napped tha' off after half an' hour 'n went lookin' for carrots.
[He rubs his head.] Anyway...it started fun, but it didn' end tha' way, so I'm jus' gonna have t' 'not' f'r th' future. Jus' too many differences!
no subject
That is indeed very strange, though it is a strangeness in Kaseri's favor.
Did she help on the mission, however?
[Webmind missed that whole part of the action.]

[Given his knowledge of the move, though...]
She was able to disperse reflective material throughout the cave that way?

Think this should be wrapped soon?
Still, perhaps there will be future opportunities on other worlds, for both of your Pokemon to get out and about.
[Not to mention be helpful!]
yeah!
