[It appears that someone's making good use of the ICP for the Garden Carriage- at the very least it's easier than trying to use any communication off something from his wrist. As it stands- Katsuya grins, something silvery dangling around his neck quite obviously against the blue of his sweater.]

Hey! Turns out, I was able t' get another 'f my team here, [he cheers.] Order instruction's make me figure I won' be able t' get anyone else but...I figure tha's f'r th' best. Bit big f'r th' train, [he remarks with a shrug. Stepping slightly out of view so that the ICP can display the rest of the immediate area, he continues.]

But here she is! Amar!

['Amar' no doubt refers to the extremely round little sheep plodding around near the sand. Smaller than even Katsuya's relatively miniscule pony, who seems to be watching as well, the 13 pound ball of wool abruptly tucks her legs in to roll a bit down the path before stopping to bleat.]

Amar's m' wooloo- she's abou' 's friendly as Kaseri, so if y' see 'er around, don' feel shy, go on an' pet her! She's as soft as a pillow!

Heheee yep! Both fr'm Galar, ev'n. Though, 'n Amar's case she w's wanderin' around Alola...bunch 'f differen' pokemon got scattered through wormholes, so th' farms there took 'm in...

So, um...what exactly are Pokemon? I mean, I see they're creatures of some kind, but...

Ehh...tha's pretty much it t' be honest. 'nstead of like...normal cats an' dogs 'n such, they have pokemon. So like...all th' animals there.

Plus extra, like floatin' magnets an' stuff.

[ She couldn't help as an image of Magneto flashed through her mind, and she shudders a little. ]

And they have different powers and everything?

Yeah! Like...y'know those old school 'U' shaped ones? Imagine like...a big ol' metal ball w'th an eye, a few screws in it, an' there's two magnets on th' side.

Tha's a Magnemite, 's a Pokemon.

Those ones are able t' do electric stuff, maybe some solid hits...each pokemon has a certain type, y' see, like y' said. There's 18 of 'm? D'pendin' on th' type, they can do differen' stuff.

Oh, I see. That's really cool. [ It wasn't quite the same as powers back home, but even mutant powers seem to fall into categories at times. ] So what types are the two that you have?

Well, Kaseri's a psychic type- 'f she evolves she'll be 'fairy' too, some pokemon have two types...

...an' Amar's 'normal'!

[ She can't help a slight frown, tilting her head curiously. ]

What makes a 'normal' type? What kind of abilities do they have?

[ She can't help wondering, given her own definition of 'normal' people versus...say, mutants. ]

Y'know, I ain' sure. One 'f th' normal moves 's called 'cotton guard' an it makes her grow a heck 'f a lotta wool tho'.

...Well, I guess after a while I'll have t' shear her, so maybe we could use th' wool f'r real pillows fr'm there? Be a good way t' try at least.

Oh yeah, that's a good point. You'd have to do something with all that wool, unless someone knows how to spin it for making clothes and stuff.

[He stares at Amar while considering that.] I know how t' use a drop spindle if I gotta, [he admits- well, he did in another time at least, so it counts, weird as it definitely seems NOW] But uhhhh...

Well, it'd still be better than nothing. Plus, you could probably ask around and see if someone can spin wool.

I mean, if you wanted to use it for making clothes, anyway.

[He snorts though.] Pffff, take a hell 'f a lot t' get enough f'r anythin' anyone could wear though! She's only a little thing after all..!
