[Dyme waved. He was sporting some of his new orange eyeshadow, just to give it a whirl, and his nails were painted orange, too. So were his toenails, on that note, but they weren't visible, obviously. He was also wearing his new outfit, just because.]

You know you can buy makeup and shiiiii- stuff? [He normally didn't give a damn about swearing, but maybe he shouldn't do it in front of the whole train where kids could hear.]

Also, get a load of this.

[Spreading his arms, he backed up to show off his new clothes, doing a little spin.]

What d'you think? I feel like...like some really rich guy or something.

[Well, he was, but not here, and he'd never dressed like he was rich.]

Seriously, who's in charge of picking out these clothes? [He laughed.]

Now there's an idea. We should ask about it. Isn't there a suggestion box or something on the train somewhere?

I think there is. At least, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing something like that somewhere. I should double-check on that sometime.

[If he remembered. Which really just meant he should do it soon.]

Yeah, it really would be useful to have different types of clothes to choose from. Especially if people need something specific.

[ It would suck to try to buy a dress just to get a T-shirt or something. ]

Maybe we can get that changed if enough of us suggest it.

The power of the people, right? Or something like that.

[ She snickers a little. ] Yeah, something like that.

And I mean, working with the people is a good way to prevent an angry mob, at least.

Very true.

[He paused for a moment.]

Not that...we'd be able to do much if we formed an angry mob, would we?

[Without anyone to really blame for being there, and damaging the train sounded like it would be a terrible idea, considering it was where they were living right now.]

Yeah, that's a good point too.

[ Any kind of rebellion they'd do would only make living on the train that much harder. ]

Still, the train seems to at least try to take requests into consideration? [ For the most part. ] That's how we got a music car.

Yeah. Like, it might have kidnapped us, but it's not completely heartless. It gives us things that make us happy.

[Except, you know, the ability to go home.]

Or at least does what it can to make us as comfortable as possible.

[ As comfortable as people could be living on a train. But hey, it could be worse. ]

So making a request couldn't hurt. The worst that'll happen is that it says no, right?
