[Dyme waved. He was sporting some of his new orange eyeshadow, just to give it a whirl, and his nails were painted orange, too. So were his toenails, on that note, but they weren't visible, obviously. He was also wearing his new outfit, just because.]
You know you can buy makeup and shiiiii- stuff? [He normally didn't give a damn about swearing, but maybe he shouldn't do it in front of the whole train where kids could hear.]
Also, get a load of this.
[Spreading his arms, he backed up to show off his new clothes, doing a little spin.]
What d'you think? I feel like...like some really rich guy or something.
[Well, he was, but not here, and he'd never dressed like he was rich.]
Seriously, who's in charge of picking out these clothes? [He laughed.]

[Sorry, but Reno was the call it like it was type. Or maybe the just agree because it's the jerk way to respond. Make that both, honestly.]
But hey, I hear the train has royalty on it. Maybe you should give them a gift and call in a favor. Hah!

Wait, really? I am so out of the loop, I had no idea.
[And no one on board looked like they were royalty, but then again, everyone had been forced into the same style clothes, so looks were probably deceiving.]

[Though to be fair Reno had a tendency to pick up on things even when he wasn't holding a conversation. In other words, he eavesdropped. And not always just by accident because of the small space. No, it was habit from the job. But anyway...]
There's a couple of princes and at least one king, maybe two, not to mention one or two princesses. Now all we need is a queen... and a knave with a ten, and we'll have ourselves a freakin' royal flush!
[He paused for effect and then pointed at himself with a thumb and gave a wink.]
I'm the ace.

[This wasn't the first time he'd been told that, and it probably wouldn't be the last.]
That's...a lot more royalty than I expected. And of course you are.
[He laughed.]
Is it because you're so charming?

[Have another large grin, and a pause for dramatics. But eventually:]
I'm the ace because I'm just that good.

I'll believe it when I see it.
[He was 100% teasing, and his tone gave it away.]

[Teasing or not, Reno takes his proclamation of self-styled ace of the Turks very seriously! ...or he just wants to show off for no particular reason other than he can.]

Besides, I don't need to feel any worse about my own inability to fight my way out of a paper bag.

[Have a sneer--though it's honestly mostly just for show, he's already starting to look like he's ready to laugh and smile again.]

And yeah, people have offered to help teach me, so I think I'm working on getting there, at least.
[And maybe someday he wouldn't feel so useless on missions.]

[There's that feral grin again. It's dangerous looking, but it's also happy and amused right now so the danger isn't directed at anyone or anything for the moment. It was just...Reno's bad boy image, that was all. Gotta read between the lines with him sometimes.]
That's good. Hate useless people. Specially out in the field. Keep it up! [That's...his version of encouragement? Yeah.]
