My dad's friend Luis is known for a crazy way of telling stories. So here's my attempt at it, good for a giggle at least?

[Cassie hits a rapid fire monologue of the mission plus train life. Insert events as needed.]

That is an interesting approach to storytelling. Is your father’s friend a storyteller by trade?

He's not, Luis just has a way of telling a good story.

It’s a rare talent to be able to make others laugh. Especially when the subject is not inherently funny.

He's one of dad's buddies from their job. Plus an unofficial uncle to me.

Sound like a good uncle to have. Even as unofficial one. [All this is sounding very mysterious...and he's not trying to be nosy, just curious.] What is that they do?

I see.

[No, he doesn't. Not in any modern sense at least. Still, an agreeable guard is better than one with a perpetual frown.]

He must be very popular with people they're protecting then.

But do not sell yourself short! After all, Luis is not here - tis you who have managed this!

Looks like I have a lot to learn!

Is that not true of all who live? But I think you did a wonderful job.

I am not sure I realized quite that much was happening on the train.

[Or, at least, it's a very different style than the kind of storytelling she's used to.]

A lot does happen, that's a highlights reel version.

[Her skills in observation must be atrophying at an alarming rate.]

A remarkable amount of information, then, delivered at quite the rapid pace.

The challenge was packing everything into 5 minutes.

It was efficient.

Do you intend to make a habit of such tales?

If there is interest.

I think there might be.

[The train does go rapidly from boredom to chaos.]

It might make sense to schedule it to coincide with new arrivals, though. Depending on how you intend to frame things.
