Hi everyone. It's so good to see you all again, and I'm glad that you made it back safe.

But I'm here today to talk about a very important issue: healing and taking care of yourselves. I'm aware that we have a very limited medical car and few healers, and that some of you are using that as an excuse to avoid treatment. It can't be that bad, you think. Other people need it more, you think.

That may be true in an emergency situation in the heat of the moment, with many injured and few healers, but we're no longer in an emergency. If you've been hurt, please allow someone to take a look at you and see what we can do to help. I'm a healer myself, and I promise my treatments are quick and painless.

[Her stern expression finally fades into a smile. ]

I'll even give good patients a treat if you come willingly. How about it? I'll be in the medical car.

Carrot cake muffins! The train's a little limited on what I can bake.

... I was going to pester Noct but he doesn't have carrot cake muffins.

Any reason's a good reason! Come on by.

[ And she'll be waiting with the muffin laid out temptingly behind her. Mami herself is seated neatly, ankles crossed and arms folded, the perfect image of a patient lady. ]

[To facilitate better healing, Gladio had decided to just throw on pants and no shirt (it was usual for him, hush.) before heading off to find Mami. When he found her, looking serene and strangely elegant sat there.]

Feeling just great.

[And really, he does. He's smiling, he's happy, he has a big ol' bite mark on his right arm and if he turned there would be a rather nice set of claw marks down his back ruining his tattoo.]

I'm glad. Please sit.

[ Oh...hm. No wonder he's so popular, she thinks quietly, but she's all professionalism when she approaches, gently grasping an uninjured part of his arm. ]

I'll clean first and then heal quickly. Is that all right?

[After sitting himself down so that Mami would actually reach parts of him without struggle, he grinned]

Prompto did his best to clean them... But whatever you need to do, doc. No rush. I'm in your hands.

[The wounds barely hurt anymore. His only worry was whether they would scar. While he was no stranger to scars, he was getting a little sick of scars that made a mess of his tattoo, like the giant one that cut across his chest.]

Okay, wonderful. I'll just quickly double check.

[ Mami circles around and quickly wipes a cloth over each, and immediately the yellow gem in her hand glows. It's a warming sensation that tickles a little, and there's a strange effect of transparent flowers floating in the air, but the cuts are healed one by one. ]

And now you get a treat!

[ One happy little carrot cake muffin is presented. ]

[Gladio watches her, still with that smile, and is quiet and patient while Mami cleans his wounds and then there's that glow... His arm and back feel much warmer, but not so warm it was uncomfortable. It was nice. Though the strange afterimage of flowers around him had Gladio trying hard not to laugh. They were pretty though.

When all was said and done, he was handed his muffin and Gladio finally laughed.]

Well worth it. Thanks, Mami.

[He tilted his arm to get a look and was really very pleased.]

... You do a real good job! Not a single mark left.

Thank you for coming. I'm glad you're all right.

[ Mami looked pleased with herself. ]

Now go get some rest, all right?

[With tasty muffin in hand, he knew when he was being dismissed, so rose and with a laugh headed off.]

Doctors orders, huh? Guess I can't argue with that!
