Hee-eyy, is there anyone on board who can whip up some small containers? With magic or--whatever? Is there anything around? I need to make this--

[ He holds up a filled glass bottle the size of about an energy drink. ...if with a fancier bottle to it. ]

Into about--three! They're megalixirs! They'll make people feel good as new out on missions, magic and all! Light! [ And a smile springs on his face, even if he doesn't know she can hear him. ] I got a bunch of them! --Oh yeah, and Bryn! Yuna! I got stuff for you too! Come meet me in the luggage car!

[ She could make him grin even harder just by being there, and Tidus feels the way the muscles around his mouth hurt in a good way. But he keeps his smile cool, crinkling the bag behind him some with his fingers massaging the packaging. Just to tease. ]

You don't want to talk bottles first? I have a lot of megalixirs, you know. It might take a while.

[ Tease a lot. ]

( and what a tease he was-

an adorable tease that she didn't mind acting all flustered around. )

Oh right, I'm sorry for getting off track. So, if you're tempted to try your luck, I can take two of those bottles and mix them together. Usually I've gotten this thing called 'final elixir' but we might get lucky and get something better.

[ Nooo, Yuna, don't actually go along with it so well! ]

Heyhey hey, I don't really wanna talk business! Okay, you got me. [ He's too weak and he doesn't want to make Yuna wait too long, bringing the bag to the front and holding it out, ] I can't

Here! I hope you like it. I thought you could use something... home-ly like!

[ And admittedly, he's not too sure if she'll like it or not. But it's here now, so Tidus watches her a little anxiously, rolling his lips, and if she looks inside--please, Tidus will perish if she doesn't-- she'll find a lengthy blanket suitable for her bed made with Besaid textiles, its style and pattern recognisable for what's made on the small tropical island. ]

( was this a simple case of reverse psychology or was yuna truly genuine in her nativity about things like this?

only time would tell.

with a bright smile, she can't help but walk closer and take a seat next to tidus on the trunk. she sits close enough so that their thighs are touching, her hands reaching for the bag. )

I wonder what it is....

( once opened, she can't help but gasp just a bit. )

It's beautiful! How....where....I can't believe you remembered what they look like!

[ Tidus sitting with the question 'What do you think?' pressed behind his lips, ready to pounce out. But they don't get a chance to before they're redundant by the sound of Yuna's gasp, making Tidus excited and worried both at once.

He hasn't gotten to feel so stupidly happy like this in a while, with a sprinkling of shy; in a way he doesn't want to be obvious about, but that has him giddy anyway. ]

Well, I didn't get to pick the style, but I remembered the huts where people were weaving them, and all the other cloths there. And I thought it'd be nicer to look at than the same boring bed covers each morning.

[ Because pfft, that's dull, right? Tidus's gaze flickers from the blanket to Yuna's face, and he adds, as if just compelled to keep talking: ]

I got it after the mission... you have to wait for the platform stops, so it took a while to get here.

( did she ever mention to him how adorable he was? especially when he showed so much detail in the little things he did for yuna?

with an ever bigger smile to match his, she finds herself hugging him tightly, pressing her face against his shoulder. )

Still, it's amazing you remembered the style and you thought of me. You really shouldn't have....

I should get you something too....any suggestions?

[ Has Tidus ever expressed how much he likes her arms around him? Because he's got to say, he's enjoying this fairly well--how can one guy get so lucky? ]

I dunno, [ he starts cheekily. ] This is pretty nice.

[ Especially when he tips his head to meet hers rested on his shoulder. ]

Yeah. [ Heh. ] I like this.

Oh yeah? Wait until I do this-

( oh the ways he motivates her to get out of her shell more. with his encouragement, she began to rub her face against his arm, before placing kisses on it.

once done, she stops and takes in the feeling of his head on hers. )

I'm glad you like it. You're the only person I've done this with and it's still so new to me. So don't hesitate to ask for more.

[ He wasn't expecting those little kisses, and after the surprise of them, his cheeks pinch with warmth, a goofy excited commotion bubbling in his stomach.

And even though it means losing her head against his arm, Tidus slowly takes it away, wraps it around her shoulders and brings her to rest in the crook of his side, her face now closer to his than a bed of hair.

His hand finding hers, weaving fingers as one. ]

You too, [ he says with a laugh in his voice. ] Whatever you want or I want--we'll tell each other, let the other know. We'll talk to each other about everything.

[ And because he can't help it, can't wait--he plants a small kiss on her cheek, under her eye, a quick little thing. ]

Does that sound good?

( she's more than happy to intertwine fingers with him, following his affections with ease. the blanket is on her lap now, keeping her warm and filling her mind with memories of besaid. the warm beach, the bright sun, and the wonderful food. if only they could actually be there, enjoying it together. )

Sounds like a plan, a really great plan. I can't promise that I'll share this blanket though-

( with a soft chuckle, she managed to stick her tongue out towards tidus after his kiss. )

Hey! [ He sounds mock offended, even though there's too much humour in his voice for it to be real. But he sure can nudge her easily like this. ]

What if I said that's what I want most?

[ And said it with a really pouty tone? ]

Oh?

( she managed to say, before escaping from his arms. yuna quickly lifted up the blanket and covered them both under it. )

I suppose we'll just have to share it!

( laughing brightly, she finds herself falling back into his arms. she would have never imagined that there would be a day where the two could just laugh like this and be carefree.

in spira, there was no such thing as being a 'care-free' person, or rather there wasn't. before tidus had arrived, there was nothing but darkness and sadness in every corner of spira. sometimes the veil would get lifted when there was a blitzball tournament or a calm would come, but those moments were brief.

it's in moments like these, even in a strange new world, that yuna knew she truly loved tidus. moments like these where it was just the two of them and they were just having fun. )

I'm sure you want something more than just a blanket to share, right?

[ Tidus had known girls before, been on a few dates, but he'd never really made the same connection with any of them as he had Yuna. There were those he made him look twice, sure, made him feel his heart in his throat to speak to as Yuna had by the bonfire in Besaid. Not to the same degree; he always had blitzball and his position as a star player to keep face, and causing a scene like he had busting into Yuna's first prayer to an aeon weren't going to inflict the same kinda nerves.

But who else could he be happy with, sitting in some crowded luggage car on top of a trunk, with his arm around than her? Tidus never questions or imagines it. He doesn't need to, doesn't want to, the smile on his face unlikely to go anywhere soon. ]

Well I don't want to share you, [ he teases. ] If I've got you, what else can I want? I didn't really have a lot back in Spira.

[ Which he says lightly, nothing negative about that fact. It was what it was, and he had a copy of Brotherhood... so what else was there? A blitzball? ]

Oh there is so much I could give you! You just have to ask.

( she says softly, bringing her face up to meet his. with her nose pressing against his nose and her eyes staring lovingly into his, she holds his hand close to her heart. )

As many kisses, hugs, and snuggles as you want. If you prefer something else, I think I can come up with something. Like teaching others here how to play Blitzball so we can have our own tournament here.

Wow! You're gonna make a guy greedy promising all those things, you know! [ And Tidus likes the sound of it all, keeping his head in close to hers and tipping the side of his forehead to hers, to rest just for a second. ]

We'll need to get a pool before that, right? We can always help teach some of the others how to play the sports here. [ Ahh, now a small downer to his mood. ] I was hoping the train would set us some clocks around here so we can plan things out better... it sucks not being able to tell the time from night or day.

Well as long as you're greedy for just me.

( yuna swears she's never laughed this much before. pulling down the blanket, enough to mess up her hair a bit, she continued to chuckle softly. )

I wonder if I could use my points to get a clock of some sort, or maybe there's some way to determine the time better? It made it had to sleep at first, so I understand.

We could, but it wouldn't be as useful if the train just gave everywhere clocks, right?

[ Well, maybe he's expecting too much, but. ]

I thought you could get the train to add stuff if you asked, but maybe I gotta wait a while longer. [ Hrrrrm. ] If it doesn't do it by next month, then...I'll buy a bunch and stick all over!

[ What a thing to get pumped up on, right here cuddling his girl. But he even makes a small fist pump to go with it. You better believe he will! ]
