[ And a smile springs on his face, even if he doesn't know she can hear him. ] I got a bunch of them! --Oh yeah, and Bryn! Yuna! I got stuff for you too! Come meet me in the luggage car!

[ Light is here!! Odin is also here!!!! He looks a bit out of place next to the table-tennis equipment actually, but really a towering armoured construct would look out of place anywhere on the train. ]

[ uhhh hi that's a big guy

And there's no one else here but them: him, Lightning's summon, and...Lightning. It dawns on Tidus then--which it hadn't even on his way to the gym, his sword equipped simply because 'fight' had been on his mind and he'd gone to his room--that he volunteered himself up to a battle with a summon, which.

Wasn't impossible for a guy like him, right? But. Was that what he just agreed to? Was he up for whatever ass kicking this was going to involve?

[ But you know what, it was either offer himself up or Lightning to a butt whooping by the stray thought that he shouldn't go in this alone. And was it worth that--beating up a bunch of them instead of just him?

The almost lost expression that had slowed his stops upon his entrance--a little bewildered too, thanks to the sight of Odin--gives away however, as a certain level of determination that could be mistaken for arrogance or confidence takes a hold of Tidus's stride. Not walking directly towards Light, but to the empty wall to the side. ]

I throw everything I've got at your big guy, and we go as far as I can take! They should be able to handle me, right?

[ He's about to drop the bag of potions, but thinks to stick them in a cupboard at the last second, safely tucked away with the balls. Tidus turns back on his heel then, properly facing the pair as he comes closer within their proximity. ]

Sound good with your friend? I'm tougher than I look, you know!

[ time to get cocky at the aeon ]

[ It wouldn't have been the first time she'd gotten her ass kicked by Odin, but when he offers to fight alone, she blinks.

Sure..?

She and Odin exchange a look, and whatever passes between them - resignation, understanding, a mutual confusion as to the general motivations of the individual known as Tidus - causes the eidolon to draw his sword and step forward. ]

Try and give him a challenge.

[ She's looking between them; it's not clear which one of them she's commanding.

Odin shouts, a sound of mana and grinding gears, and charges. ]

[ f u giant weird summon, Tidus has fought Iron Giants before!!

With a crew, and Tidus has been made well aware of his own limitations and how heavily he relied upon teamwork, his true inadequacies in understanding a blade. But even before this trip across worlds, he was shared a lesson by someone more experienced--that you won't always have others beside you, and you'd do well to remember that.

Tidus readies his own brotherhood as Odin draws their much larger weaponry, an empty hand clenched into a fist, and a burst of pyreflies shooting up around in him a paused step, a fast-forwarding face clock and rings of gold surrounding him. Odin's large (and in charge), but he refuses to let that unnerve him.

His father's aeon form was larger.

So as the eidolon charges for him, he's deliberate in his halt, the cocky gesture of his fingers with his-- ] Come on then! [ that delays him, but purposely; crushing that hand again and energy bursting around his blade in response before he dashes in. Tidus's looking to meet with Odin and to clash, if to use his speed and smaller frame to get in a second quicker before Odin's blade can swipe--

though where Tidus's own blade strikes doesn't matter, against another weapon or Odin's torso, so long as it does--so that the effect of his delay buster can hopefully be set off in the contact, and Tidus can have the time to make his next move. ]

[ Odin's strengths are largely negated in a one-on-one, and even moreso in such a confined space. His strength and staying power have him in good stead, so he simply moves to block Tidus's strike with his shield, the entire piece flaring with flickering light. Natural resistances negate some of the delay buster, but his retaliating flurry of sweeping, spinning blows with the great double-bladed sword are a mite slower to begin, and deprived of their usual fluidity.

When the combo is finished, whether it struck or not, he straightens, and half of the room is filled with vertical bolts of electricity.

(Light winces, but the lights don't go out, or anything, so... it's probably fine?) ]

[ It's not the temporary stun Tidus was looking for, but slowing the motions and the diversion of answering his attack gives him room to kick back and display better the effects of his haste, the fluid athleticism in his own movements as he backflips with his one free hand to catch and bounce him back onto his feet, his sword held to stop it scraping against the ground.

But distance doesn't mean anything with the aerial electricity now permanently part of the field(?). He scoffs, even if inwardly he's realising that shit, he hasn't derust his reflect spell since he hopped on this train ride if those bolts do anything weird.

Nevertheless: ] Wanna see me dance? Fine! I know my way 'round lightning!

[ But he flicks the wrist of his armed hand, the burst of lights coming, and then--he's back in, swifter than before, followed by a light of blue tracing off his brotherhood that swings twice at one of its legs, another if the swing of that double-sided weapon isn't coming for him, or otherwise, he's jumping out. The sound of crackling somewhere behind him, but he doesn't dare look with the bigger threat ahead of him.

He wants to see how well he can damage this thing like this, or find a way to weaken the armour.

Or maybe, he should think of giving himself more protection first. ]
