He claps, and Aoi vanishes in a shower of confetti.

"But enough of the gloom. I figure most of us could do with a bit of cheering up."

He snaps his fingers, and a deck of cards appears in his hands.

"Hi, I'm Kaito Kuroba, Magician! Ladies and Gentlemen, Robots and Aliens and Assorted Beings! I'd like to invite you to my magic show."

A flick, and the cards turn into an origami rose.

"My Beautiful Assistant will be played by Glorfindel-san, who is a good sport. I can't promise you a Las Vegas style show with all the bells and whistles, but I bet I can still entertain you! I'll put it on in the Cinema Car in about a week."

He bows and the rose turns into Aoi, who flutters back to his shoulder.

"See you all there!"

Like I said, I get it. But maybe the fact that she hasn't said anything means she doesn't wanna talk about it? We shouldn't just assume she wants her name being broadcast over the train.

Look, I said her name once, and I don't really see how never mentioning her name again does anyone any good, especially since she's still on the train. If I'd said nothing you lot would be jumping down my throat for ignoring the victim.

If I was guarding her, then I wouldn't have to ask because I'd already know. But that just tells me that you didn't even bother trying to find her.

Maybe instead of getting defensive, you could've actually taken that time to actually check with her and make sure she was comfortable.

Lady, I posted this on public - she can see it. She can say something. But you lot have her locked up like a Princess in a Tower, and I don't even know if she CAN ANSWER ME. So don't blame me, when you're just looking to start a fight.
