[ooc: I thought this might be easiest for people to tag and talk. So the invitation to the dining car is going to be through the ICP, the actually discussions aren't. I'm listing a few topics as starts, but add your own if you'd like. Please indicate which conversations people should be able to threadjack and which ones they shouldn't.]

[Mid-morning on Basoon 15, Tony appears on the ICP looking freshly showered and still in his sleeper 1C room.]

Council members, please join me in the dining car. It's time we finally got together and discussed some matters that have come up on board. Ash, that means you too.

[Council Meeting Part: Council Members Only]

[When the council members arrive, they'll find tea and coffee have been freshly made and a freshly baked coffee cake with small plates and a spatula are next to it.]

Welcome everyone! Please, get yourself some refreshments and have a seat. Since Manabu appears to be missing, I've asked Ash to join us as the alternate.

[ooc- in case anyone forgot the council members are: Tony, Feanor, Manabu, Sarai, Dread, and Lightning with Ash as the official alternate.]

[Tony laughs, finding both the retort and the tone utter perfection in snark. It was hard to believe how wrong he'd initially been regarding Feanor. The elf and his family were both highlights to this train experience.]

No, I'll leave that for someone else who has the time and patience for something so trivial.

[It was too much fun to mess with the other man. He put a hand on the other man's shoulder, moving in like this was a secret.]

I see observation skills aren't something you're an expert in. It's alright, can't be perfect at everything.

[Fëanor does not deign the hand on his shoulder more than a passing glance but he does nothing to get rid of it either. It's not that he's offended. Far from it. Tony can clearly tell from the content smile that it's that kind of verbal sparring Fëanor wasn't even aware that he missed.]

There's nothing lacking in my observational skills. I'm just rather judicious with where I direct my attention.

And, excuse you, I was born perfect.

[Over the top and arrogant but in such exaggerated way it can't be anything other than a mockery of itself. Self-deprecating auto criticism is something Fëanor never does. Almost never.
He can't possibly know this but Tony just has been granted a view to a side of former King of Noldor he had rarely shown to anyone but the immediate family. And even to them a long, long time ago.]

[Someone else he might find this arrogance irritating or a need to challenge it with his own. Whether it was his good mood or the elf himself, Tony simply found the ridiculous arrogance infinitely charming and it showed on his smiling, amused face.]

Of course, whatever was I thinking...

[He rolls his eyes.]

Anyway, work with me later to see if we can't figure out how to make these watches into communicator devices.
