Yes, he was soft and cute and doing his very best to give off calming, soothing thoughts and feelings to help her. He pressed gently into her hand, leaning into her fingers as they stroked over him.

Maru continued to purr, though he wished he could purr louder, the rumble would easily be felt in little vibrations under the girls fingers. He knew it wasn't much, but it was the best he could do. Maru was created to fight... He wasn't made to do things like this. This was something, a rare something, he actually wanted to do. Maybe he couldn't go and find the person who had caused the hurt of everyone, but he could do his best to try and help those who had been hurt. In the only way he knew how.
