[He likes the ear scritching and he rolls on his back in her hand. He snuffs at her fingers, she didn't know what a weasel was?

He never met anyone who didn't know what a weasel was, but there's lots and lots of things she doesn't know and she is quite small!]

[She probably knows more than him! He nuzzles her fingers again, agreeing. Sometimes you didn't need words to understand people and animals! You just did. He squeaked happily, in agreement]

We shall need a name for you, if only so I'm not so rude as to keep calling you "you." That can be terribly unkind. Why don't you squeak when you hear a name you like?

He already had a name and a shinki name! But having another name wasn't a bad thing and it wasn't like he could tell Alice who he was like this.]

Hmm... let's see now, you're all white like fresh snow. Perhaps Storm? But then, you are such a slight little sweet thing, and a storm can be terribly scary. Wisp, perhaps? Frost? My kitty back home who is all white we call Snowdrop, so we can't call you that.

Perhaps Neige? That's French for snow, you see.

He was a bit like snow, but hopefully not scary at all! He was supposed to make people less scared after all!

He squeaked happily. He likes that. Neige was a good name! And he likes french, he doesn't really speak it but had known some friends in the heavens who did.

"Neige it is then!" she grinned. "I don't get to use my French very much here, I feel like it will go to waste."

He wriggled happily in her hands. He would have to find her later, when he was a person again, to talk to her about French. Because France was close to Italy! He had seen that on the map! So maybe she was from somewhere close to him!

"Well, now that we've a name, why don't we get something to eat, Neige. I'm not sure what you eat, so I'll pull ask about getting you fruit or perhaps chicken? Which might you prefer more? One squeak for fruit, two for chicken."

It's a difficult choice. Fruit or chicken. Both were so tasty! He thinks for a moment, nuzzling her hand so she knows that he heard her.

Chicken sounds great! Fruit would also be tasty but he's hungrier than just wanting fruit. But she's so little. Can she cook chicken? Then again she wouldn't have gave it as an option if she couldn't.

He gives two squeaks. He will definitely have to cook for her sometime later, when he's not a weasel!
