[ Taking some of the extra blankets, she arranges some of the chairs and hangs the blankets across them.

And she manages to do so with only a slight tremble in her hands, so that's something. ]

[He let Kitty get to work, but he also kept an eye on her. He knew teens by now. Hell, he'd been living with a bunch of them for six months now.

After a little while, he approaches her again with a mug in his hands.]

[ She senses more than hears his approach, but she doesn't look up as she smooths down another blanket. ]

[ She's probably not, but she also isn't sure how to talk about what's bothering her without sounding a little selfish. ]

She definitely recognizes the attempt at distraction, but it still has her pause a moment, debating on what she could - or wanted - to explain. ]

Have...you ever heard of Mutants?

[ She isn't sure how much Creed has explained, or what Tony already knows about them. But it's the first time she's said it out loud since arriving on the train. ]

I have. There was a young woman on the train not that long ago who explained the concept to me. She said there was even a 'Tony Stark' from her world who was involved with them. I, however, have not until I came here.

[He paused, considering that a moment longer.]

Unless you count the change of genetics that created supersoldiers as a mutation or whatever the hell happened to the Hulk.

[He smirked.]

And I'm not talking about the Hulk being giant and green but Banner having a horrendous fashion sense. That had to be a failure of modern science.

Well, that makes it a bit easier then. Where I come from, the world has just learned about the existence of Mutants recently so that's...something we're working on. I have the ability to phase because the X-gene that makes me a mutant lets me rearrange my molecules in order to pass through the space between atoms.

[ She's quiet as she thinks for a moment, going over what he'd said. ]

I'm pretty sure there's also a Tony Stark where I come from. But I don't think he's ever been involved with Mutants before. I'm pretty sure he's just a businessman.

[Tony nods along, connecting what she was saying to nanotechnology easily. He wondered what else she could pass through or do with the space in between atoms. Hmm, the possibilities were endless!

He's pulled back to the conversation at hearing he's 'just a businessman'.]

[There was the slightest pout on his face about that. Idiot duplicate Tony!]

There was something about his tone that was kind of funny, but she offers a sheepish smile as she shrugs. ]
