[For anyone that would know based just on the background, WangJi is in the garden car. It is quiet at the moment and he's clearly sitting on the ground, based on the position of flowers behind him. Also, a white rabbit keeps poking its head into the field of view, trying to get WangJi to pay attention.
WangJi's face is carefully impassive, but there is a subtle sadness in his eyes]
For those that knew them, it would seem that Wei WuXian and Lan Sizhui are no longer on the train.
[Sorry, Yanli and HuaiSang. He's noticed, but those two are his priorities]

What's the most difficult problem you had to help with as a junior?

WangJi considered that for a long moment then spoke]
Trying to save the library when the Cloud Recesses was attacked.

[ This better not be a sad story!! Well, he's here, so it must not be, but he paused for an awfully long time. She's suspicious. ]

[He was deliberately leaving out the name since Wen Qing and Wen Ning were here. They were not the same as those who had attacked the Cloud Recesses]
no subject
Wait, burning? Maybe... ]
Ah, I've heard this story, I think. Was it the Wen clan? The big clan with the Sun crest? They burned down a lot of places...

Yes. Qishan Wen started attacking others in a bid to force all other sects to submit to them. But remember, not everyone who bears the name Wen believed what they were doing was right. Some helped others who had been injured by fellow Qishan Wen disciples at the risk of their own lives. Others simply held the name but were not cultivators or too young to have harmed anyone.

[Wen Qing could, for sure, but she's also a doctor, so. Maybe less forcing going on? Not that she'd need to, a-Qing is pretty sure that the lady could just look at someone in a certain way and they'd roll over and show their throat.
Is that a Wen thing..?]
I'm not stupid, I won't judge them based on what their sect did! [Yes she would. Luckily, she met them before she made the connection, so she's already decided to trust them.]
What happened to the library?
no subject
My leg was broken by Wen Xu because I refused to allow it. The library was burned as was the entirety of the Cloud Recesses, but my brother made it out of the Cloud Recesses with most of the books. He hid for a while until the time was right for him to return.

Ahh, that Wen Xu! [SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHO THAT IS BUT.] How dare he! Bast-- [She almost tips Little Rabbit out of her lap, and hastily scrambles to gather him up again.] -- I hope you burned him and broke his leg...
no subject
[Not that he took pride in knowing this was what happened to him... but seriously thought if he ever felt anyone got what they deserved, one of them was Wen Xu]
no subject
Ugh, you've sure had a lot of trials. What about a hunt that went well?
no subject
Hmm... when I was younger... my brother and I went on a night hunt together. I was still a younger junior at the time and he helped teach me.
no subject
The brother that saved the books? What's he like?
[She'll go back to pestering about monsters after.]
no subject
Yes. My brother is a very kind person. He sees the best in others and treats others with respect no matter their station in life or where they came from. He is the one who understands me the best.
no subject
Okay, fine, a powerful cultivation sect's first young master could probably afford to be kind all the time, huh? She'd accept it.]
What were you hunting?
no subject
A low level ghost. He was there to assist me so that I could learn.
