Sooooo, not being able to talk to most of the train that day sucked, huh? I don't know what to think about any of that, but since we can talk to each other now, I was thinking: How about we share where we're from, and see who's from worlds like ours?

And who speaks the same languages too! An actual list be better if that ever happens again, but for now, tell us about the kind of place you're from, what makes home home to you! You got kings or dragons? Machines? Portals to other worlds? Talking sea life? You just trying to get through school?

I'll go first to give you guys an idea, but share whatever you feel like!

I've had lots of adventures! [Adventures were fun! Sometimes they were scary but as long as he had friends with him then it all turned out alright in the end!]

Well the big thing about being a shinki means you serve a god and they can turn you into a weapon by calling the name they give you. So Elfnein can make me into a weasel and when I'm a weasel I can help people keep their spirits up by making them feel better and that stops them falling into despair! Also she can use me to rend the monsters and destroy them.

But when I'm just regular me then I can jump really really high! Also I can do borderlines, which is an energy that makes a shield to stop bad things from hitting people. I can also throw that energy too. It's a bit like cutting them to attack bad things as well. I also know two spells! One can make people not be able to move and one can make someone be invisible! There's more spells that shinki can do but I don't know those ones.

[blitzcheer]

[ This kid has so much energy, that Tidus can't help but laugh, if between bafflement and some fondness. He's not sure if all this is a good thing, but the kid is proud, so--hey, it's gotta be, right? ]

You're full of tricks! But you sound less like a weapon to me and more like another warrior! Or a partner in heroics! Kinda like the beings my friend Yuna used to summon. We called them aeons!

Well, what you do is different from them, but. [ Waving a hand. ] She used to have to call them to ask them to help us too. But none of them could turn me invisible. [ Grinning- ] Don't think you can teach me how to do that, do you?

Yes sir! [He likes that way of thinking of it! Though he's never heard of an aeon before, but it sounded like they were a big help to this man and his friend!] Me and Elfnein do really good teamwork!

Um... I don't think so because you don't got shinki magic! You need a shinki name to do it. But I could probably turn you invisible if you ever needed to be! If we ever needed to go be really sneaky on a mission!

I'll have to keep that in mind! And hey, if you or your friends ever need a guy to make them go fast, you come to me! I've got a few spells up my sleeve too.

[ He holds up a fist in confidence, not actually wearing any sleeves. ...because he's talking about his magical sleeves!! ]

The enemy won't know what hit 'em between the two of us!

You do? [He grins.] What sorts of spells? Do you got lots of magic? What team are you on? I bet we would make a great team!

[Tidus seems really nice so he is sure that would be the case!]

I'm with Purple! But I'll go on any team that sounds like it needs the help.

[ Folding his arms and nodding! please don't punish him, train-senpai ]

I don't know too many, but I know how to make my friends go fast and my enemies go slow! Or the other way round, if you wanna slow down. I can stun, sleep, make it hard to see -- and I know a few elemental spells too. Not many, but I've been trying to add fire to that! Since I could've done it with back on that last mission.

Where were you on that? Don't think I saw you with Blue!

Fire would have been really good against those crabs! [He grinned.] Oh I'm usually on the blue team but I went with purple because Joss needed my help, he's my best friend and he can't swim so I had to go and help him get through all the swimming bits!

[He grinned.] We fought lots of crabs! But before that I always went with blue team!

Oh yeah? Well I bet you two made a great team! Too bad we can't help teach Joss how to swim away from a mission. You a fan of it? 'Cause I love swimming!

I love swimming! I tried to teach Joss before but he finds it tricky. He's not bad at it though, he just needs to practice more because when you practice you can do anything!

[He grins.] You love swimming too? It's really fun isn't it!

It's the best! And now I'm starting to think a swimming pool on a train isn't such a bad idea, huh? It's not just useful for getting around crabs -- it's great fun.

I even know a game you can play underwater! You wanna see it sometime? A friend found a cartoon with it!

A swimming pool would be a really good idea, we should tell the train that and try and get one because then we can teach people to swim before they got to fight bad news crabs!

[He grinned even brighter.] You can play a game underwater? That sounds fun? What's the cartoon called, is it in the cinema?

Alright then, then we've both gotta ask it. To show it we really want it! And we want it to be a deep pool! Really big!

[ The biggest pool ever seen! ]

Yup, it's got entire seasons on at the cinema! It's called Born to Blitz, about a guy who wants to become the next big blitzball star! It's not too bad. You should bring some of your friends and we should watch it! I should be able to buy us some sweets off the shop. Or we can see if there's any cakes we can take outta the kitchen.

Yes! We can both ask for a huge pool!

[That cartoon sounded great!He wants to watch it, he bets Elfnein would like it too. Joss would probably call it for babies but also like it secretly because he was a bit like a grown up sometimes in that he had to pretend not to like things.

Not all grown ups though. Tidus seemed to be really happy to say how much he liked swimmining!]

Yes! Or I can make some cakes! And popcorn. Popcorn is good for watching things! We might need to ask for that from the shop though...

Yeah, popcorn would be great. But is there a way to get it through the shop?

[ Hmmm. ] We should ask for a popcorn machine inside the cinema car! You can't have movies without popcorn!

How big is a popcorn machine? [He thinks. He doesn't even know what a popcorn machine is actually. But it sounds a good thing to have!] Do you think we can buy one?

Uhh, hmm... I don't know. They used to have them in cinemas where I lived, but...

[ Well, that never really existed, so... ]

Maybe we can look at the shop and see?

We can! I got lots of points so I bet we can buy a popcorn maker! Where are you sir?

Whoa, just Tidus! I'm not that old!

[ Please!! He's not even old! ]

I'm in the standard coach if you wanna come over. I'll have a poke at it and see what the screen says.

Okay mister Tidus! [And off goes the screen. It's not too long before a very excited Romeo enters the standard coach and spots him, waving and going over.]

Did you find any?

[ NOT MISTER EIIIIIITHER. ]

[ But luckily for Romeo, Tidus has brushed off his transgressions by the time he meets him at the shop terminal. His mouth is pulled askew as he looks from the kid and back to it, tilting his head. ]

Hmmm, not sure... I think we'd have to buy it as one of those big items? But I don't have the points for that. [ He idly taps his forefinger against his thumb. ]

And I don't know how we'd buy the popcorn for it. It's not really a 'Meal for Four'.

[ Ugh, why was the shop such a pain? ]

I have lotsa points so I can buy it! [He grins.] Um... What if we asked for it as a little item? Popcorn is quite little... It's not really a meal so I don't know if we can get it like that. But neither is ice cream and me and miss spider got lots of ice cream and fruit for parfait that way!

You did? [ Oh, huh. He was thinking everything under that option had to be 'sentimental'... ]

Huh, alright then. [ A beat. ] Are you sure? I guess if you get the popcorn this time, I'll get more later to refill it! That sound okay to you?

Okay mister Tidus! I'll get one popcorn maker and one bag of popcorn! [He stares at the points but that's a lot of numbers to subtract so he just hopes he has enough and puts his card in.

Soon he has bought a popcorn maker. He clicks on the small item.]

Um are they called popcorn seeds? What you make popcorn out of?

Uhh, it's kernels, isn't it? Think that's it. Man, I haven't had popcorn in forever...

[ But he does feel a little guilty leaving it to a youngster to be buying a popcorn maker. ]
