Sooooo, not being able to talk to most of the train that day sucked, huh? I don't know what to think about any of that, but since we can talk to each other now, I was thinking: How about we share where we're from, and see who's from worlds like ours?

And who speaks the same languages too! An actual list be better if that ever happens again, but for now, tell us about the kind of place you're from, what makes home home to you! You got kings or dragons? Machines? Portals to other worlds? Talking sea life? You just trying to get through school?

I'll go first to give you guys an idea, but share whatever you feel like!

My name is Elena. I am an employee of Shinra Electric Power Company, in the Office of Administrative Research.

My world is called Gaia, though most people just call it ‘the Planet.’ I was born and raised in a city called Midgar, which was the largest city on the planet until about two years ago, when it was largely destroyed in a natural disaster. My colleagues and I were assigned to help in the evacuation. Now that the world is rebuilding, it’s more difficult to get access to the technology we had gotten used to. I had to trade in my smart phone for the old flip phone I used back in high school, for instance, since the cellular data network is no longer reliable.

Magic is harnessed through crystallized mako—the Lifestream of the planet—called Materia. There are offensive and defensive materia, as well as healing and purifying materia.

As for languages, I could communicate with those from my world, but no one else.

That sucks about not being able to talk to anyone else. There a few people here though from the same world as you?

Elena talks to much. [That's said more for Elena's benefit than Tidus's though. It's mild, less an admonishment and more a warning. She hasn't mentioned anything that's not public record yet so she's fine but he just wants her to be careful. All that relayed in one sentence. She'd get it.]

But yeah, there are three of us from the same world. Ain't no big deal, is it? Don't you have anyone?

Speaking 'bout that though, the tech in your world... how advanced are we talking? Did you have things like holograms, networks, advertisements free floating all around? Skyscrapers?

Skyscrapers, yes. Holograms, yes. Free floating advertisements, generally not.

So you wouldn't be walking around the more busier streets and think hey, I wanna check out this! Or where can I find this!, and make the network show you where you can find them to point you in the right direction?
