Just doing a check - how many of you can make some kind of portable healing item? Like... a potion or stimulant, or, dunno, a cake, or something that'll heal injuries quickly. Missions are getting pretty dangerous, and with it liking to split the teams up so much, I figure it'd be good to start thinking about back-up plans in case a team's healer is taken out of commission or ends up 'visiting the control coach' during mission week.

[ Like her, for example. ]

Just... gimme an idea of what you can make, and what you'd need for it, I guess. Reply to standard coach, or come and talk to me.

[ She reaches towards the screen, then pauses. ] Oh, right. I've finished writing up my notes of the missions so far, so if you want to come and give 'em a look, get an idea of what you'll be doing in the future, that's fine too.

[ Bwip. ]

[ About ten minutes later, she's back: ] Just repeating something Tidus said - it'd be good to know the same for defensive supplies. Stun grenades, nets, deployable barriers. Magic or whatever else that does the same thing.

The camera pans widely as she leans back, a bit too far, so there is a nice view of the ceiling since she was looking down at it.

"Candy-making supplies to start. I mean magic supplies wouldn't hurt, but I need molds that can hold a good form for the really defensive stuff."

She tilts her head, considering. Buying candy molds doesn't sound too bad, but...

"Do they have to be candies?"

"Candies I have several hundred years of experience enchanting. Other things, not so much. Why?"

"Checking if the molds were a must-have. What sort of enchantments can you do?"

[grannyofthebolt]

"Mostly damage mitigation. Safe and shell, with what I have. If I get good molds, I can make ones that simply make people harder to hurt in general. They only last as long as they are sucking on the candy though."

[enthunder]

"Huh. That'd be a big help... so as long as no-one chokes on 'em." She hums, obviously interested despite her joke.

"I'd say, try asking around, there's bound to be people who can make you something to work with for now. Try the kitchens, or the workshop they set up in the Quiet coach."

"I'll probably have to buy them or something. The ones I had at home.... I don't remember where I got the originals, and I just had people use those as spec for new ones."

"The kitchen didn't really have anything, just enough for generic rock shapes which.... Are the ones that hold the least magic."
