Just doing a check - how many of you can make some kind of portable healing item? Like... a potion or stimulant, or, dunno, a cake, or something that'll heal injuries quickly. Missions are getting pretty dangerous, and with it liking to split the teams up so much, I figure it'd be good to start thinking about back-up plans in case a team's healer is taken out of commission or ends up 'visiting the control coach' during mission week.

[ Like her, for example. ]

Just... gimme an idea of what you can make, and what you'd need for it, I guess. Reply to standard coach, or come and talk to me.

[ She reaches towards the screen, then pauses. ] Oh, right. I've finished writing up my notes of the missions so far, so if you want to come and give 'em a look, get an idea of what you'll be doing in the future, that's fine too.

[ About ten minutes later, she's back: ] Just repeating something Tidus said - it'd be good to know the same for defensive supplies. Stun grenades, nets, deployable barriers. Magic or whatever else that does the same thing.

He was referring to the fact that he needed to buy more useful stuff whenever he got more points rather than spending it on more treats and such. Anyway, he looked like he was lounging in his cabin but he suddenly sat up to talk to her.]

I was thinking we could use some Elixirs up in this joint. Don't know how to make 'em but I was thinking of buying some when I can.

Although speaking of things I've bought. The little Summon I got boosts stats with Haste and Barrier magics. He's also got a Cure-All.

Save some for pleasure. Some people have more points than they're ever gonna use. But, Elixirs... Huh. They're rare, but you're right. Might be worth investing in some for emergencies.

[ She bends to note it down. ]

That the little green mascot you've been showing around? Not bad.

Yeah. Used to be more easy to get my hands on some but... [Now he knew how the rest of the world felt what with Shinra not being fully top notch anymore. Damn.] Eh, who knows. Maybe the train won't have a problem getting them so long as we have the points.

Bahamut? [ She pictures Fang's eidolon. ] Yeah, he's not exactly 'train-friendly'...

Yeah, well. He'd be useful for the big battles, ya know. So I don't see why we couldn't have him for when we're off the train, yo!

I'd say I didn't think it'd work, but... You've got Carbuncle, and I've got Odin. So... Guess it does. You asked on the feedback window?

Eh? [Give him a sec.] Ah, no. Just went to the shop and ordered a Summon materia. It didn't say no so I figured it'd give it to me.

Well, it got part of the order right at least. But just the 'useful Summon' part.

...No. [Yes.] I told it to give me a useful Summon materia like Bahamut.

Maybe if we get a bigger carriage sometime...

Or how 'bout this? What if it just gave me the materia because it's nice and small, and then I could just not summon it while on the train? It would be useful for missions, yo! Help us out here, dumb train!

No, not really. [ ... ] I mean, not any of the good ones. There are rumors about a cactuar and chocobo chick Summon materia out there that would be smaller but all the ones I've seen in action are big monsters. I didn't expect Carbuncle to be a real thing either so I guess I could try for them if you're interested though.

[ She shakes her head, having considered. ] Don't worry about it. Cactuars're a pain in the ass, anyway.
