 Hey, all you wild animals! If we haven't met before, the name's Della Duck. Now, I'm not tooootally sure if the calendar here really aligns with what time it was back home or even if time has real meaning at all here BUT ANYWAY! Far as I'm concerned, today is today and today is my birthday!

Now don't go worrying about parties and presents and stuff - I just got here, so we're all kinda too new for that. Instead, what I want is to make a whole bunch of new friends. So if you're up to it, give me three interesting details about you! I'll go first.

1. I'm a mom! I've got three boys, triplets, and they're the best.
2. I've got a twin brother! So technically it's his birthday too, and once again I missed out on the chance to celebrate with him... haaaa ha ha.
3. I'm an ace pilot! If it flies, I can control it!

[ But not Della's favorite person. ]

I mean if he could make gum that can help one live on the moon that is pretty smart. At least to me.

But you know, there are a lot of smart people on the train as well... it makes me wonder how many we have.

[ She is eager for that subject change. ]

I bet there are a ton of people who are smart in their own ways - we're all unique! I bet there's plenty you can do that I can't!

I'm a pilot, the best one there ever was! There's no weather I can't conquer, no clouds I can't break, no mountain I can't dodge!

A pilot? I... don't know what one is. I have never heard of one before.

[ Big. Wide-eyed. Stare. ]

Do... do you know what a plane is?

No, I've never seen one, but then again not much I can see from my tower.

Auuuugh, I have to show you somehow!

[ A frustrated groan, not at her, but at the situation. ]

They are the BEST MACHINE MANKIND HAS EVER INVENTED!

The best machine... So it's a machine of some kind?

[sos_pilot]

Yes! You use them to fly loads of people and treasure from place to place! With it, you can go all over the world in a matter of hours!

So like the train except it flies through the air and not the void?

Though we don't take treasure to places.

[sos_pilot]

Planes are much faster, and cooler, than any train.

[adropofsunlight]

Much faster? really? I thought the train was pretty cool though.

SO much faster and SO much cooler. The one I took command of was called Cloudslayer!

Why is it called CloudSlayer?

[sos_pilot]

Because it was so fast, it practically obliterated every cloud it went through!

Oh wow, that sounds really amazing if a plane can do that.

[sos_pilot]

It is, and I've done it plenty! I fly the family wherever we need to go!

I hope one day we'll get to a place where you can fly again.

When I can, I promise you can be one of the first passengers!
