 Does anyone know where I might find some good adhesive and possibly some sandpaper? I've got a good selection of bamboo that I want to cut into strips and laminate together to make practice knives so people can learn how to fight and protect themselves on missions if need be. But I need a way to do the lamination and something to smooth the edges and properly shape them.

The training gym has a very wide selection of training daggers and knives if you're in need of practice equipment. Otherwise, Glorfindel may have the supplies you require.

I have a binding agent that would work for that.

[He'd happily give people who need it projects to do, even if they already have some training knives.]

If you can get a cleaned out jar or something from the store room I'll give you a portion of it and a demo.

If you have any skills with whittling, or want any particular blade shape that can be made with the bamboo I've cut, you're welcome to come join me. I usually sit and work in the greenhouse car so my cat can wander through the plants.

For proper weapons, you want my Feanaro, or Curufin, too. But sandpaper is useful for sculpting, and I brought plenty in my bags!

I'm still adjusting to the bamboo flute Glorfindel helped me make, but I think I'm doing alright. I'm used to using a metal one.

I see! I confess, woodwind is not one of my strengths, so I fear I am unable to help you there. I can play the harp, a little, but that is the extent of my musical ability.

And I bet we don't have anything good to make harp strings from, do we? Which is a shame, because I think some bamboo could be bent and formed into a harp shape.

Sadly not! But I am... well, fortunate in one way, I suppose. When my son left, he left behind his harp.
