Hey. Dunno if anyone was waiting to see how stupid the 'random clothes' option was before trying it, but I finally spent points on new clothes. So, here's a review... I guess.

[ She rummages next to the ICP, and holds up an ornate jacket, a black dress printed with red rose petals and a pile of wool and linen that she can't quite sort out in time for the camera before she gives up and puts it down again. ]

In short, they're not bad. Not great for missions, but they're, [ She lifts her hands to do airquotes ] 'not to be worn on official Voidtrecker business' anyway. It's fifteen points for an outfit, though... so, maybe see the spider instead if you're low.

Interesting. I had no idea what to expect from the clothes the train provides but that isn't so bad.

It'd be a shame if I didn't. Although... [ she motions one second, and disappears to grabs the black silk shirt and hold it up to herself. ] Mind if I leave out this bit?

[ She's smiling to herself a little at the sight of Lightning with the frilly shirt, and coughs a little awkwardly. ]

No. No. I wouldn't mind. I mean, I'm sure you would look very nice with it. But it isn't your style.

No arguments there. Maybe I'll leave it out somewhere for... animal bedding, maybe? [ Maybe the kid with the mouse would like it. Or Jenivere. She stashes it away again, presumably on one of the beds in the cabin. ]

Don't suppose you're free to help me work out how to wear this one? [ She holds up the folded pile of wool and linen again. ] I think it's some kind of cloak... but that's as far as I got.

I can come help you! Of course. [ There's a moment of flustered silence at her own eagerness, lips pursing. ] I would love to assist you, I'm sure we can figure it out together. [ There. Better. That's a little more dignified. ] It can't be more difficult than the many-layered robes we cultivators wear.

That's cool. I got two outfits last time round, and both of them were pretty awesome.

Yeah? [ She really needs to start paying attention to clothing. ] What'd you get?

A white t-shirt and jeans. Which is pretty much the same thing as I wear all the time at home. And also this awesome kind of scifi flight suit.

Huh. It do anything? Or is looking good enough.

Oh! Those are adorable, I love the dress and the jacket, they seem like they'd suit you so well!

[ she murmurs a mildly embarrassed thanks, but Perse still gets a smile. ] Looks like it might take personal taste into account... though, no idea how. Or... no, not taste. I mean, I wouldn't have picked this stuff myself.

I guess it could. It already knows plenty about us. Do you think it actually can tell what would look good on you? Because I'm pretty sure even I struggle with that sometimes.

[enthunder]

[ She nods along; that's a very familiar feeling. It's why she tended to stick with her uniform back home, and here as well. ]

Could be luck... or some information it's got stored on us. Who knows.

If you want someone more reliable, have a talk with Misa. She's the expert on looking good around here.

You get outfits, at least. So, maybe socks, and four of those stupid onesies from the party.

[ There's a moment where she misses Fang with a deep, irrational ferocity. And then the moment passes, leaving only a laugh and a joke about Lady Luck behind. ]

Probably not gonna try again this month, but let me know if you go for it. I could use the laugh.
