[Minako was at least settled since she first arrived with it having been Day 4 now. Because of that she already had things on her mind and that was things others probably were not expecting someone to want to talk about.]

So... it's not been long since I first arrived on the train and I have met many people and it made me realize there are many good looking people on the train.

So I am now going to ask. Who do you think is the cutest man or woman, boy or girl on the train and who do you think is the hottest? Like you would have a massive crush on them hot.

I'm glad to hear you actually went after that boy of yours, by the way, and that apparently he was favorably inclined to listen.

Handsome is so much better! [ Because 'cute' just makes him feel like a kid. Which he technically is by most world's standards, but still!

The latter half of what Samata says makes him grow quiet for a moment though, but then he softly smiles. ]

Ah.. Well, it's pretty amazing, right? I still can't believe someone as amazing as him is into me.

[Her smile faltered very slightly. But only for a moment. Her last relationship had not ended well, but she didn't want to ruin Inigo's mood.]

Love is a strange thing. I hope it works out for you.

I'm sure it will.

[ Not as sure as he pretends to be, but whatever. This isn't the time to be insecure about himself, not when he can catch that slight moment when her smile falters. Oh, Samata, what happened to you.. ]

But one way it will for you too, you know? [ He doesn't think she has a significant other, at least? Surely she would've brought it up right now if she had. ] You're great. That person will be very lucky.

[Whups, had he seen that? Samata smoothed her face over.]

It's not a huge priority right now, honestly.

[ At least the over the top sweetness fades a little as Inigo instead dramatically gasps. At least he's making it very obvious that he's just joking. ]

Milady, are you telling me that love isn't the first and foremost thing on your mind?! How could you live like that!

If it happens it would certainly be nice and there are no shortage of attractive people on this train. There’s just so many interesting things to see and learn about! Romance is only one aspect of an enormous and complicated universe!

[flatteries]

So many interesting things to see and learn about.. That's such a dangerous thing to say! Before you know it, you'll instead end up married to a book! [ His facial expression turns dreadful. (Still dramatic, though.) ] You'll end up like Laurent!

...Inigo what in the depths are you talking about? Who’s Laurent?

He's one of my friends from back home. He's..

[ Inigo pauses.

Dramatically.

Then he sniffs. ]

I'll never know the sweet taste of a shrimp dinner because it gives me a stomach ache. What's your point?

Don't compare it to something like a shrimp dinner! Shrimp are--

[ He starts out as dramatic as before, but then seems to give up halfway through, letting out a breath as he starts to look a lot calmer. ]

.. what I'm trying to say is that it's fine if you really don't care for that kind of thing. I mean, I can't really understand it, but you should do whatever makes you happy, you know? But if you're denying yourself it or holding yourself back while you actually do want it, that's no good. That's all.

I'm not against love, Inigio. I just have multiple interests of which only one is the attentions of men. Why are you so worried about my love life, anyways?

[flatteries]

Because I want you to be happy?

[ The answer comes pretty quickly, since he's being honest about this one. No need to take some time to think up a lie. ]

There are lots of ways to be happy.

[flatteries]

I know, but.. are you happy right now?

[les_magique]

I'm making progress in my research now that I don't have to worry about someone trying to have me killed in the night, so that's good. I'm not seeing anyone at the moment, so that's unfortunate. I'm trapped on a train on an endless meandering interplanar journey, so that's unideal. I'm making friends so that's good. I've discovered chocolate, so that's good.

So...I think that happy narrowly beats out unhappy.

[flatteries]

[ Okay, this is a serious topic. And he is being serious about it! But something about the way Samata puts all of it makes him burst into laughter at the end. It's friendly laughter though, and a smile lingers on his face even after. ]

It's the chocolate that makes the happy side win out, huh? I think I'm severely underestimating its power.

Me neither! What an amazing discovery! It almost makes all of this worth it!

Are you seriously going to claim it's just the chocolate that makes it worth it? Not your beautiful new friendship with your good pal Inigo?

[ He's just being dramatic. He's even trying to pull off a puppy eyes stare. Thank god he's cute enough for it. (Mostly.) ]
