[Minako was at least settled since she first arrived with it having been Day 4 now. Because of that she already had things on her mind and that was things others probably were not expecting someone to want to talk about.]

So... it's not been long since I first arrived on the train and I have met many people and it made me realize there are many good looking people on the train.

So I am now going to ask. Who do you think is the cutest man or woman, boy or girl on the train and who do you think is the hottest? Like you would have a massive crush on them hot.

[ Of course she looks confused. Almost as confused as Ple Two feels. What should their relationship be? Madoka's a few years older, but... is that really that big a problem?

Madoka doesn't seem concerned just baffled. ]

I'm... I'm trying to work... that out myself.

[ She cares about Madoka. ...she'd go to extremes to protect Madoka, and the girl in front of her has made her life almost incalculably better. Does feeling that way mean she has a crush? ]

I care about you. A lot. Like I... haven't cared about anyone else.

[ It's got to be so tough for Ple Two to figure out, everything considered. Even Madoka herself feels like she's having a little trouble with it, if not just since she has never really thought of anyone in a romantic sense before.

She cares a lot about Ple Two too, of course. But then again, she cares about all her friends. But would she mind holding hands with Ple Two? Of course not. Hugging is fine too. Cuddling in bed would be nice. If they weren't stuck on a train, having dates like normal people like going to a movie, or a cafe.. that sounds nice. ]

W-Well.. I don't want to decide for you what your feelings are. [ Judging from what she saw in the dream, people have decided that for Ple Two for far too long. ] But if you do have a crush, then.. um..

[ Her voice trails off for a moment, and her cheeks grow red. ]

I wouldn't mind that.. [ That much she's sure of. ] It might be kind of nice.

But if you need some more time to figure it out, that's also okay. I.. just want what's best for you. And what makes you happy. [ Madoka pauses for a moment, just long enough to very gently take the other girl's hands into her own. ] I'll be here with you regardless.

[ Holdings hands. Hugging. Easy things like that they can already do - she lets Madoka touch her in ways that hardly anyone gets close to. Ple Two knows there are a lot of things she likes to do with Madoka, ways she likes Madoka, that are unique to her life. Even if it's just an infatuation with one of her first real friends... well. That's... fine, isn't it? ]

I... I might. I... like you a lot.

[ And there are other people she likes, but not likes like this? ]

...you'd really... um. ...be interested...

[ Dating? She's seen how some of the relationships here go. The circumstances... are not easy. ]

...we should try... something, then? I think?

[ She's redder, as she squeezes Madoka's hands back. ]

[ There's something really cute about how shy and cautious Ple Two seems about all of this, although Madoka gets it, since she's feeling the exact same way. It still feels like a new enough thing that she wants to be careful with it too. Like a new flower that you have to protect from the elements for a while before you can trust it to bloom by itself.

She nods without hesitation though, giving the other a smile that she hopes is as encouraging as possible. ]

.. yes. Let's do that.

[ There's a lot of uncertain things. One of them could disappear at any moment. Even if they can one day choose to go home, things will be complicated. But right now, this feels right.

After shyly staring for another moment, Madoka leans forward, planting a small but gentle kiss on the other's lips. It's really quick though, little more than just a peck, and she looks so shy when she pulls back, despite the smile on her face. ]

Um.. That wasn't too much, right..?

[ It's easy to be confident on a mission - get your butt out there and fight people and solve problems. Combat, training, chores, even playing games, all simple enough, not requiring emotional vulnerability.

This is a lot of that. But, despite that fear, she finds it almost natural to want... a bond like this, too. Is that something you can just be genetically predisposed to? ]

...y-yeah. Yes.

[ At this point, she'd follow Madoka home sooner than go to her own.

Even then she doesn't expect... a kiss? Her eyes widen, and her face flushes deeply leaving her mouth moving wordlessly for a moment. ]

...you kissed... um, n-no not too much. Just... just right.

A-Ah, really?

[ If it helps, Madoka looks just as flustered about it. The answer makes her look glad, sure, but she's blushing all the same as she seems unable to quite figure out where to direct her gaze. ]

I'm glad. It.. felt nice. [ So that gives her enough of an answer as well. There's no way that the rapid beating of her heart right now could mean anything but her also being very much romantically interested in Ple Two. ] S-Sorry if I was being a little bold..

[ Ple Two nods slowly. It... it is nice. It felt nice, and that's probably a better sign than anything. ]

...we can be a little... bold...

[ She takes a breath, and then leans in, suddenly, to kiss Madoka just as gently and hesitantly, and quickly, on the lips; then leans back, blinking. This means she can just do things like that? ]

[ There's another surprised little noise when Ple Two kisses her so slightly and then pulls away, but it's more of an instinctive reaction than anything else. Especially since Madoka has that same blushy smile on her face afterwards. ]

Y.. Yes, we.. we can.

[ Her heart will need some time to get used to this though to make sure it doesn't explode! ]

I-It's my first time too, you know..? Being together with anyone in that kind of way.. [ As if that isn't obvious from how shy and flustered she is about it all, even in the middle of the happiness. ] So.. we can slowly figure everything out together.

[ This is it, they've done it. Kissed each other right on the lips. ]

All of this is so... new. But, um... other people are making it work... as well here, right?

[ So couples can be a thing on the train. That precedent helps a thoughtful girl like her. ]

[ It seems like there's plenty of people nowadays. And honestly, considering Madoka even got adopted by Tony and Ignis, she's more aware than anyone else that things can really work out that way on the train. She sees them being cute together enough for it to be normal.

Granted, Ple Two's background makes it all a little bit more.. special, but that's not going to stop Madoka. She already wanted to make the other happy regardless. And if they're going to be each other's special someone - well, then she'll only have to work for that goal harder. ]

And.. um, in a way.. I think it's almost kind of nicer here to have something like that..? Everything can be unpredictable, so it sounds so nice to have someone there for you like that.. [ With Madoka's selfless nature she can't help but mostly say it since she hopes it'd be nice for Ple Two, but at the same time she can't help but already kind of imagine Ple Two waiting there for her after something difficult.. It's kind of nice. ]

[ And it's not like Ple Two has any expectations for what a date is supposed to be like. Any improvising won't even stand out to her. She just hasn't paid much attention to how anyone else is doing it.

They want to make each other happy, though. ]

...someone to rely on. Someone... consistent. Always there. I'll...

[ Ple Two swallows, takes a breath. ]

I'll be here for you. All the time.

[ If the goal is to make Madoka happy, that sure seems to be working right now. The girl smiles, even though her head dips downward, slightly shyly. ]

Thank you. That.. makes me really happy. [ It's not as if she doesn't have other people who'd be there for her, but they have other people they should be there for before being there for Madoka.

This is different from that. ]

I'll be there for you too, of course. As long as we're together, we never have to be alone.

[ Madoka smiling. That's what she's hear for. ]

We don't. I'll... I'll be with you. As much as you want, Madoka.

[ ...and hopefully not get too many suspicious looks from her dads. ]

[ The Tony hurdle is a high one, but they'll overcome it somehow!

She almost - instinctively - thanks Ple Two all over again, but then realises that's probably a little too much and instead shyly smiles before lightly tugging on the other's hand. ]

Then let's stop hiding away here like this, okay..? Let's go grab something yummy from the kitchen together.

[ He already likes Ple Two, even if he's more aware than some that she's a dangerous little thing. ]

...that sounds like a good idea.
