[ As usual, Gyousou has been visiting the greenhouse to check on the small plant from his world. Which, in turn, has led him to some navel-gazing. ]

I have been thinking recently on the future of this journey of ours. Preparation is key for any venture, and perhaps we have been too reactionary... We are able to purchase animals and supplies, but perhaps it might be worthwhile to request a riboku, so that we might grow animals of our own and gain some self-sufficiency. I'm not familiar with customs for the creation of a riboku outside of my own land, but in Tai the village would assemble in a festival gathering, so that their prayers may all be heard.

[ He smiles slightly, expression wry. ] Ordinarily, we would also register the settlement on the divine lists... but here I suppose notifying the train itself would work just as well.

[OoC: Threads can and will be threadjacked by Taiki as he tries to do cultural damage control, let me know in your tag if that's not okay!]

Right! Most of the time it feels like almost everyone is familiar with it except for me.

[ Which he laughs at, so it sounds more like a joke rather than a Genuine Concern He May Have Sometimes. Because, you know, Inigo doesn't worry! Ever! Clearly! But he's still glad that Taiki at least seems to understand.. He truly is the perfect friend. ]

Not to mention a lot of people here seem to have something against monarchy? [ Judging by the whole Edge debacle(s). ] But that's how most countries work where I come from.

If you need anything explained... I can help. [He is already does so for Lord Gyousou and Wen Qing so adding Inigo to his attempts at explaining things would be no problem.

He frowned at the latter, knowing why Inigo would worry about such things. Though he won't mention that, not in public like this.]

It is how every land where we come from works as well. Though inheritance is not legal there and the kingdom does not pass down through families.

[ He hums a little, seeming to think. ]

It seems like the world you two come from is closer to mine than most others represented here. [ From what it sounds like, anyway. Sure, there's weird animal growing trees, but there's some things from his world that Taiki and Gyousou's doesn't have. ] I'm rather glad for that. It does make me feel slightly less odd. Though I could definitely use your aid with getting a bit more used to certain things others here speak of...

Um... [He just looks awkward again, as he so often does when Inigo lavishes him with unnecessary praise.]

I think you would be find, you are very clever and would figure things out.

[ Okay, he knows Taiki is being genuine, but he can't help but laugh a little at that. ]

I think you might just be the first person to ever call me clever. [ Usually people just say he's an idiot.. ]

Oh. [That's sad. Because Inigo is clever and should know it.

He blinks at him through the camera sadly seriously considering going to find him and giving him a hug.]

[ Oh no.

Taiki is looking sad. It's like an alarm is going off in Inigo's head right now. The Taiki looking sad alarm. The mini Inigos inside of his mind are screaming and running in circles, this isn't allowed to happen! ]

Hey, don't give me that look! [ TIME TO PUT ON THE BIGGEST FAKE SMILE. ] They just haven't seen my true genius yet the way you have! I know I can always count on you.

[He gets a smile back, a little forced, but he doesn't want Inigo to be worried about him looking sad.]

I am sure you will show them all how clever you are. They will see it, for sure.

[ Except not of course, because Inigo is pretty sure that with every single thing he's doing in this place he's convincing more and more people that he's just an idiot-- ]

And then you can tell them all you were the first to see my true genius! They'll call you a pioneer!

[He smiles at that and then tilts his head to listen to the other messages coming through the ICP and his smile turns worried.]

I should probably go and help our Lord Gyousou...

[Before things got too confused.]

Oh! [ Inigo got so lost in the conversation that he totally forgot about its original goal for a moment there. He laughs with only the faintest hint of a blush colouring his cheeks. ]

Right. I'm sure there must be quite some confused people. I wish you luck with it, Taiki.
