Video - A few hours after new arrivals, Garden Car, Fiddlesticks 1
[The first thing that shows up on the screen is something very, Very Neon Green before it's pulled away to reveal... something cartoonish if it wasn't for the shine and fact it's real, if not creepily unexpressive. It's also smaller than Princess. Also still Neon Green as it floats next to a grinning, orange clad Eva, who has a smallish red bird settled on her shoulder.]
Hey sorry for not greeting any of you on the platform, but I was kinda distracted some new pokemon.
[That and her phone (mostly her phone), but details.]
Anyway, I figured this is the fastest way to let you all know that starting tomorrow sometime, if you need to move Princess or deal with him, Kuroba-kun's looking after him for the next seven-day.
[Her grin is a fully-fledged one of pure mischief as she ends the feed.]

[There's the smallest of frowns before she grins.]
A world like Peter-kun's then. Say no more.
[For her sanity, please.]

[Webmind's perfectly fine accounting for that.
Giving Lele a curious look, he finds a reason to change the conversation again.]
Now, how did this beautiful creature come to be?
[As is usual for him, he is not sarcastic in the slightest.]
no subject
Most of the AI's actually dedicated to that, but because it's here now, it's been gutted of near everything.
[Including the most important part: the Glow Sticks.]
no subject
It's been lobotomized in coming here, then? How terrible!
[Webmind looks again at Lele, a frown projected on his screen.]
Would it be safe to rebuild it here, then? Add a different sort of depth?
If it needs digital space, we do have the room, though the nature of the space is largely-
[Lamentably!]
Simple.
no subject
[There's a small shrug.] And, I wouldn't allow it to hook into your systems. You're a person anyway.
no subject
[Webmind kneels down to be at 'eye level' with the digital Pokemon.]
If it needs further help adjusting, I would be glad to provide in any case.
no subject
I'll... I'll keep it in mind. Thank you.
no subject
Webmind straightens back up, giving Eva a curious look.]
Was there anything else you wanted to talk about, out here? I would like to learn more about your world, otherwise - whatever you wish to share.
no subject
If you have questions, just ask. If I can't answer, I'll let you know.
no subject
What is something you consider basic knowledge that most people you work with even back home tend to forget?
['What wheels get reinvented the most?' would be another way to phrase that question, but it would be more confusing that way!]
no subject
[She's so done with her employees.] Even Blue forgets, and he's the one that suggested them!
no subject
That does sound amazingly convenient! And annoying that it's taken for granted so easily, as well.
I suppose doing without would count as habit, however.
no subject
Probably, but it's not like it's a novel thing. Lots of large buildings use them, so I think people just forget. That or I need to label them better...
[She totally does.] Or maybe it's just not a common thing in Alola.
no subject
Labels do seem to make quite the difference. Possibly in neon.
[Webmind flashes that winking emote for emphasis.]
It already being uncommon would also explain the discrepancy.
no subject
[It's a pity Blue isn't here to facepalm and or call her out on this.]
It's probably that; most of the employees are from the archipelago. I heard Aether had the same problems when they first started up in Alola, so...
no subject
Aether would be a company that sells teleportation technology, then?
no subject
[She sighs, clearly not that fond of Aether.]
At least the current President apologised for all the hoops the previous one made me jump through to build the Battle Tree.
no subject
Making a structure sufficiently green in its efficiency should not be so troublesome, I agree.
[Whether it was the protocols themselves or just acquiring the materials to fulfill them.]
no subject
[Eva huffs.] Though, I think I was targeted more for my fame than anything.
no subject
Usually, on the Earth I know, fame is used as an excuse to skirt those regulations. That your plan had already been agreed to makes it seem terribly ironic, if not quite backwards.
[Though given the proliferation of corporations who use money to flaut those same regulations, perhaps it is a matter of overcorrection.]
no subject
People do try, but in a world dominated by monsters... well. when it bites you, it Bites you.
Plus Aether has some sort of vested interest in Alola, so...
Is it okay to threadwrap? ^^; Getting ready to clear threads for June.
[And he's just including the pokemon in 'people' as a matter of course, there.]
have their say in matters, then there are only so many ways they can obstruct each other before having to get along anyway.
Yes!
They do. They have an even stricter compulsory voting than Yamatai does, yet they also have Island Kahuna appointed by the gods, so... I think between that, they have a very good say in things. But, all that matters, in the end, is I got my Battle Tree.
[And you know, became more famous but details she's not think about, k thx.]
