[The first thing that shows up on the screen is something very, Very Neon Green before it's pulled away to reveal... something cartoonish if it wasn't for the shine and fact it's real, if not creepily unexpressive. It's also smaller than Princess. Also still Neon Green as it floats next to a grinning, orange clad Eva, who has a smallish red bird settled on her shoulder.]

Hey sorry for not greeting any of you on the platform, but I was kinda distracted some new pokemon.

[That and her phone (mostly her phone), but details.]

Anyway, I figured this is the fastest way to let you all know that starting tomorrow sometime, if you need to move Princess or deal with him, Kuroba-kun's looking after him for the next seven-day.

[Her grin is a fully-fledged one of pure mischief as she ends the feed.]

I had it custom-built in Alola to help run the Battle Tree's security systems.

Most of the AI's actually dedicated to that, but because it's here now, it's been gutted of near everything.

What is something you consider basic knowledge that most people you work with even back home tend to forget?

['What wheels get reinvented the most?' would be another way to phrase that question, but it would be more confusing that way!]

That we have teleporters installed on-site to get from place to place easily, and no, you don't have to take 30 minutes to get from A to B! Just find the nearest 'porter and use it. Honestly! I didn't spend all that money on decorations.

That does sound amazingly convenient! And annoying that it's taken for granted so easily, as well.

Probably, but it's not like it's a novel thing. Lots of large buildings use them, so I think people just forget. That or I need to label them better...

Labels do seem to make quite the difference. Possibly in neon.

It's probably that; most of the employees are from the archipelago. I heard Aether had the same problems when they first started up in Alola, so...

No, more like conservationists but I think they dabble in various fields. What I do know is they built a giant floating island-thing in the middle of the Alolan Sea.

Making a structure sufficiently green in its efficiency should not be so troublesome, I agree.

Hmnn. Though, it wasn't that, it was the fact I had to jump through what seemed like endless environmental impact reports and projection hoops before they'd even think of allow what I and the Alolan Government had agreed on.

Usually, on the Earth I know, fame is used as an excuse to skirt those regulations. That your plan had already been agreed to makes it seem terribly ironic, if not quite backwards.

[Though given the proliferation of corporations who use money to flaut those same regulations, perhaps it is a matter of overcorrection.]

[Eva snorts and shakes her head.]

People do try, but in a world dominated by monsters... well. when it bites you, it Bites you.

Plus Aether has some sort of vested interest in Alola, so...

As long as the people of Alola-

[And he's just including the pokemon in 'people' as a matter of course, there.]

have their say in matters, then there are only so many ways they can obstruct each other before having to get along anyway.

[Webmind is far kinder than Eva is.]

They do. They have an even stricter compulsory voting than Yamatai does, yet they also have Island Kahuna appointed by the gods, so... I think between that, they have a very good say in things. But, all that matters, in the end, is I got my Battle Tree.
